I can tell from the description that these are probably young singers, but they should have taller vowels. I'm a seven year choir member from 6-12 grade, so I know a thing or two. We sang this song last week at our spring concert (alto 2 ftw).

That is such a beautiful songs.

I sang it with my choir this year, and we're gonna sing the full version after the vacation. We(the old) sang it with the small kids, and none of the understood what it was all about, and they just stood and screamed and tried to sing as loud as they could, while we the old, were all about to cry because it was so sad. It really is a beautiful song^^

This song is making me cry. God I miss singing this song with my group. For *years*, this was my honors choir's signature song, then we got a new director who took it from us and gave it to the beginning choir. We were devastated because they butchered it. *sobs*
