I respect your opinion, I agree that there are alternatives to abortion- there are parents who will raise children who can't be raised by their birth parents. I actually wasn't speaking from personal experience. I'm pro-choice, but do wish people were more careful and responsible when having sex without wanting to conceive. Abortion isn't pretty, it's not an awesome thing that women are happy go lucky about, but it is a choice, and it's one that should be protected and respected.
There's a big difference between the difficult decision of abortion and using it as a morning after pill. Women who have abortions are too easily seen as careless, but at times it's as selfless a decision as adoption. Pro-Choicers aren't necessarily Pro-Abortion. Sometimes you have to accept the lesser evil- I'd rather accept a terminated pregnancy than force a child upon unprepared/unwilling parents. It's not just Pro-Choice, it should be Pro- GOOD choice. I have shown aborted baby pictures to my 10-yr-old grandson and 5-yr-old granddaughter. Children don't freak out at the pictures until their parents do. Young children know what babies are and they know what death is and they inherently know that killing a baby is wrong. Our 10-yr-old goes to the abortion mill in Denver with us and pleads with moms and dads to not kill their children. He does a great job and he's been witness to two saved children. Praise the Lord!

I respect your opinion, I agree that there are alternatives to abortion- there are parents who will raise children who can't be raised by their birth parents. I actually wasn't speaking from personal experience. I'm pro-choice, but do wish people were more careful and responsible when having sex without wanting to conceive. Abortion isn't pretty, it's not an awesome thing that women are happy go lucky about, but it is a choice, and it's one that should be protected and respected.

There's a big difference between the difficult decision of abortion and using it as a morning after pill. Women who have abortions are too easily seen as careless, but at times it's as selfless a decision as adoption. Pro-Choicers aren't necessarily Pro-Abortion. Sometimes you have to accept the lesser evil- I'd rather accept a terminated pregnancy than force a child upon unprepared/unwilling parents. It's not just Pro-Choice, it should be Pro- GOOD choice. Make the best choice for YOU.

If it has to be, then the fetus is just as innocent of guilt as the pregnant woman- the difference is the pregnant woman is alive and responsible for deciding if she can support (in every aspect) a child. I have shown aborted baby pictures to my 10-yr-old grandson and 5-yr-old granddaughter. Children don't freak out at the pictures until their parents do. Young children know what babies are and they know what death is and they inherently know that killing a baby is wrong. Our 10-yr-old goes to the abortion mill in Denver with us and pleads with moms and dads to not kill their children. He does a great job and he's been witness to two saved children. Praise the Lord!

However, only 1% of the approximately 1.8 MILLION abortions preformed annually in the U.S. are because of rape or incest.Also, only 6% are for the health of the mother or because of potential health problems with the baby, leaving an ASTOUNDING 93% of all abortions being sought for SOCIAL reasons.
