PAX Prime 2010: Fable 3, Interview with Lionhead's Josh Atkins and...Hip Hop Gamer?

I loved the Fable series... until I played Fable 3. Pros: Great scenery, graphics, and side quests. Cons: lots of glitches, no real emotional ties, weak final boss battle, house repair was annoying, I actually would have liked starting out as a kid, no real consequences to your actions until you become king, followers got stuck, the jokes were sometimes too childish, combat was not good because you could just use magic, ect. I like Fable but this game wasn't finished. 3/5

I want to know why (if it is true) LH will not make local co-op split screen, or even LAN. Really, whats the problem? What is limiting them to keeping both players on one screen where we will have to take turns using shops and inventories? Split screen local co-op games where players can use menus and shops independently have been out in the wild for over a decade now.

I like the online style more, but it can't be done split screen style so...

Halo is more online based than Fable and is a totally different game. Most people like playing against other players, they also should have done that in Fable 3. Like online matchmaking, Fighting against another player would be epic.
