  • McKinsey looked wonderful at 4:10, didn't she? That's why soaps have failed since around 2000. These classy, major talented "veterans" that the shows used to write for and revolve around are no longer front and center. Now it's half naked 18 year olds falling all over each other or yapping on a cellphone about the last person they f----d. It's just not the same and it NEVER WILL BE.

  • what people need to remember is this is the show that unfairly fired michael zaslow(roger thorpe)in 1997 for having als disease. and yes, p&G AND cbs is dropping it. ah, the glorious end!!!

  • wow...the San Rios shooting of Alan...this is another scene I remember watching in 1986...Alan was having a flashback of being pursued in the jungle and having been shot...causing Springfield to think he had been killed.

    3:44

  • oh my...I wasn't expecting to see the Eli Sims/H.B. Lewis scene!!!

    "this is for Annie!!" 2:06

  • I hope this 40th anniversary special remains on You Tube to remind people of the show that CBS is removing from their network this September after a 57 year run on their network. Although it's from 1992, it includes all of the scenes that long-time fans remember.

P&G is hoping to get another network or cable channel...or even internet company...to continue the show after it leaves CBS in five months. In spite of what may be reported, P&G isn't ending the show, CBS is dropping it.
