i cannot agree to this episode coz education should not lead to death of anyone ( this woman was shown educated as she was into books) ..this girl asked everyone in her reach what she wanted but all were in self mesmerisms.....be it dad hubby or sis.....so SHE DIED after a shadow of someone who always thought whatever he thought was right). But why did she cry before dying? She was learned in the village but as all elders were only self centered ....she couldn't

Please , India... Stop making movies! Your directors are horrible. You're not supposed to zoom in and out every two seconds. The acting is amateur at best. And the sound tracks always sound like they were bought at the local record store from a pre recorded mix of bad music. Please face it. India just cannot make movies!

Don't judge so harshly when you have no director/producer skills. It's so easy to criticize. Every movie industry in the world screw up. There are thousands of quality Indian movies. Give them a try....you never know, you might actually like a few. :-) Also, it might help to watch the legitimate version of the movies and not the bootleg copies. Quality is very important.

i remember this as one of the most tragic Bollywood movies I ever watched. And sridevi's performance was a wonder beyond description.

Regardless of whether or not it's her own voice, Sridevi still moves you with her performance. Had it been she who had dubbed in this movie, I think I'd bawling my eyes out.

yes she dies. She is playing the title role (Suhaagan) the movie did not have commercial success but lots of critical acclaim at that time

wow an A grade acting of sridevi in this clip, her emotions are so good, her body language, expression, dialogue delivery is so powerful, it would of been nice to use her voice instead as she is speaking perfect hindi in the clip.

This is among one of my fav Jeetendra/Sridevi movies. She plays a negative role in this film. yet the character got the audience' sympathy bec of what happend to her later
