And this is why anyone under the age of 12 should NOT be at an amusement park. Besides what's point of bringing anyone to amusement park if they're too short for you to force them on roller coasters!!
...Sorry, but if i was waiting on that line, i would be VERY irritated and angry at the baby.... :/ See, I dont think its a good idea to bring kids under 5 to Disney Land. I doubt they have the patience for long waiting lines, or support the heat...plus, at this age, i dont know if they even care about seeing mickey, donald.
@Zoorah They do care at that age. Disney has a special area in the park for toddlers. It's not designed for adults so noone cares if you would be VERY irratated. Alot of the kiddie rides dont allow kids past a certain age. Get over yourself.
Disney really is not for young children - we discovered this when we took my niece there. It was a lot of walking, and Goofy terrified the crap out of her!
Kids can and do have meltdowns, its simply life. Babysit for a few age ranges and you find that things do get better. It's also good practice for becoming a parent yourself when dealing with discipline and self-control for kids to have the internal moral compass with defined boundries, rules of right and wrong, good vs. bad, and how to love your neighbor just you love yourself.
Everyone here has had their own moments as children with meltdown, tantrums, and most parents of posters here dealt with you just fine. You have meltdown, you leave to go home. You start having a physical fight with others kids, then mom/dad may give a spanking. He/She takes you aside privately, tells you what was wrong, give you two pats on your butt for a spank, cry for a few seconds, mom/dad says I love you and tells you to not do that action again.
You guys, stop saying that you'll "never have children" because you all (as kids) probably had worse tantrums that this. Did your parents quit on you??? No. So quit it.
@iknownothing34 Hey, I'm 45, never had children, always said that I would not. And no, I was so quiet as a child that it worried people. Quit telling people what to say and not to say. Don't be so judgmental. It's not as if the ever-increasing human population will die out if every single person does not have offspring.
U guys r idiots, evry one of u that is saying u will nevr want kids fails to realize that u were all annoying slobbering crying babies at one point too. And now you've just grown to be ignorant animals that hate their own kind. PATHETIC!!!!!!
Was she hot? She looked like she was sweating. Maybe bring a little bottle of juice or water in line for her next time? I hated/ still hate waiting in line also lol.
I've never been able to understand why people insist on taking their kids to Disney at this age. Wait til they're 4 or 5. They'll be better behaved AND will be able to go on more rides and better appreciate all the park has to offer. At 2, they don't know what they're missing out on if they don't go to Disney.
I would not last ten minutes in this park with my son. I hate this age I feel I don't have a life. You can't reason with a child this young they don't listen. Our son is about to get us kicked out of our condo because of his loud noise. I can see why people buy a house when they have children. The neighbors on top, and around me are annoyed at my sons noises. Kids don't fit well in apartment, and condo complexes. This really has put alot of stress on me. My advice if you have kids be patient.
I love how when an American girl tries to get sassy and 'tell someone off' The only intelligent thing they can do is bash someones grammar or spelling. Typical stupid, American female
Man, I'm glad I don't have a toddler. 90 degree temps with 80% humidity, kids under 6,long lines, and the Disney Parks are A DANGEROUS COMBINATION,I think! I prefer Vegas myself,it's MUCH more grown up.
Yeah and belive me I was VERY Dangerous at Disney when I was five. Then I got better when I was six. and Now i'm 14 and just got back from Disney World. but some little kids could be DANGEROUS and so is the weather. agree with you
Disney has brainwashed people into thinking their theme parks are Fun Place for families with small children. The kids are too little to enjoy it, are unlikely to remember any of it, & would be just as happy riding the merry-go-round at a summer carnival.
If you want to experience Hell, then by all means, go to Disney. If you want to have a GOOD time, wait 'til they're old enough to really appreciate it. It ain't cheap, either.
hahah, i don't remember much when i went to disney when i was little. all i remember was falling asleep while waiting in line for the dumbo-ride... i don't actually remember the dumbo-ride however.
Awwww, poor baby. Giving that it was possibly a hot day out, I wouldn't blame her because the heat will do that to little ones, especially when you're standing in a long line.
well, i can't hate on this because i remember having a hissy fit at disney world when i was 5 because we were riding this car ride and i wanted a green car and didn't get it, so i rode in a blue car and was taken out of the park...10 years later i think it was pretty stupid that i threw a hissy fit over that...but that girl did put up a good show. congrats :-)
OMGOSH same thing with me. Green was sooo my favortie color when I was little. I always have a hissy fit if I don't have my true color.LOL I thought of that stupid too.
don't worry it happened to me almost ten years ago. 5 years old, green car, didn't get what I wanted, years later it was ridicous. We got a familler childhood story
Well green was my FAVORTIE color as a little kid. If I don't get a green of anything, then I will start a tantrum (not anymore) since I was six. LOL!!! Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
Carousel Of Progress at Walt Disney World and people starting complaining they couldn't hear anything because my three year old was pitching a fit so we went out the fire doors and set off all kind of alarms.
Don't worry, I went though it too. I just got back from disney world, and on my last park day. There was a little 1 year baby crying on the Carousel of Progress (all the way in the front) The parents and the baby went to the back row and during the 1940s scene I heard this kind of warning (VERY loud) "Please sit down u can't exit and whatnot" My heart was pounding, my legs were shaking and the baby was crying through the rest of the show and I sighed the whole time (and i'm only 15)
And this is why anyone under the age of 12 should NOT be at an amusement park. Besides what's point of bringing anyone to amusement park if they're too short for you to force them on roller coasters!!
