  • Great action shots of a running railroad!

  • one question,do u know any ocean (or any water-side) models in HO scale?

  • thanks for the help because we are currently building our layout

  • how did you do the slanted curves

  • To create super-elevation, we laid a thin wire underneath the outside rail.

  • Wonderful layout - great work...

  • Thanks!

  • I love your layout! I wish I could get mine to look like yours! Great work!!!!!

  • this is awesome cody!! :)

  • You should run them slower to create the illusion of bigger layout. I'd also try to eliminate those tight turn radius' in the future if possible. Otherwise, nice layout and I love the Union Pacific locomotives.

  • Are all your units Athearn? Certainly sounds like an Athearn growl. :)

  • Yes, all of the units in the video are Athearn, my favorite maker.

  • i have noticed that you don't have any boom gates or flashing units at your railway crossings. Are you doing to put them in?

  • I would like to, but it's not the highest priority right now.

  • Nice video, and excellent modeling!

  • Why thank you!

  • looks sweet really well dine keep up the vids!

  • Thanks!

  • Truly, awesome Cody! Wonderfull!

  • Thanks, Ben!

  • brasoz valley railroad club has something like this, great place here indeed just being one builder. 5 * video and favorite

  • Thanks!

  • cool, well ahppy railfanning, and ocne again, outstanding layout

  • FUCKING A!!! Beastly layout man a true inspiration.

  • Thanks!

  • great vid cody what is the max grade of the whole layout and 1 little ? is a 3% grade to hard 4 what i doing on my layout 10*

  • Thanks, Chris! The steepest grade is about 1.5 percent I believe. Most gradients on American and Canadian railroads remain at or under 2 percent, although there are some instances where gradients reach almost up to 2.5 percent, but never for very long stretches. 3 percent probably isn't the most practical, but you can make it work with short trains and enough power.

  • thank you cody

  • wow, i liek tghe truns, how the trains actually tilt, thats engineering, liek the last scene, awesome video, and do you ever make a short movei????like under 5 minues, lol, they are alwasy 10 and more, but i always love to sit and watch the whole thing, keep it up man, great videos

  • Thanks, Thomas! Most of my videos hit the ten minute mark or close to it, mainly because I like to fit the most action into my videos as possible.

  • got to love the old Athearn Can-Motor at 0:36

  • Yeah, they add and interesting touch.

  • AWESOME*****

  • Thanks!

  • Nice,

    Looks large!

  • super kool video... great editing :)

  • Thanks!

  • awesome camera work and layout.

  • Thanks, Erik!

  • Nice video and layout. What are the dimensions?

  • Thanks! 12x24 I believe.

  • Nice! Wish I had that much space for a layout.

  • Nice! I will be getting a Lionel UP Desert Victory SD40-2 soon! It's a Christmas gift.

  • Thanks! That'll be an interesting unit for you're collection, I'm sure.

  • Love the layout.

  • Thanks, Geoff!

  • Your layout is amazing Cody! Is it western or eastern themed or both?

  • Thanks, Cory! The scenery is more eastern based, but to me it doesn't really matter.

  • Awesome layout & video!

  • Thanks, Greg!

  • Another Great HO Scale Video From Cody, Nice job, Got alot of cool angles, It looks like the layout is really big, and is ver smooth running, 5 stars

  • Thanks, Kodi! The layout is very smooth running indeed, and once our new power booster is installed, I'll have enough power on each train to ensure even smoother sailing over the grades.
