  • He was the best of the best.

  • Gordon was such an Amazing Piper.....wish he was still here......

  • i love the fact that his foot taps at exactly the same tempo from the first jig into the first reel, seamless playing

  • the first tune is called: MARJORIE LOWE: it can be found in seumas macneills book of bagpipe music, gordon plays the tune a bit diffrent.

  • @pmdc. Musical??? He hardly eve played it the same every time he played it. Sure he wrote it, but the tune that's widely know and played by most others is not this one. It's just kinda too crazy, both for solo piping and definitely for troupes. To be honest, I wouldn't bother sitting down to learn the movements of this version, since its only the absolute best in the world that could play it, or appreciate it I think. Great set tho.

  • To be fair I don't think it matters the names of the tunes, I just know that I could only dream of playing that well, what ever there names must be!! absolutly fantastic

  • That is the best version of Fourth Floor I've ever heard. Starting at 5:12. All variations of the parts are so musical.

  • 2:06, definitely Farewell to Erin

  • 4.16 is "Upside Down in Eden Court"

  • If you've read the earlier comments:

4.16 is The Fourth Floor, but in Gordon's book it's accidentally named Upside Down in Eden Court

5.12 is Upside Down in Eden Court, but in Gordon's book it's named The Fourth Floor

  • no they are named right are you taking off of bagrock

  • Shut the hell up! Why does everyone think this? The tunes in the book are the right way round. 4.16 Upsidedown in eden court

    5.12 Fourth floor

    End of

  • whats the first tune he plays, it goes on till about 2 mins

  • 4.16 is the Fourth Floor, 5.12 is Upside Down in Eden Court.

Don't go by the names on his book, they got mixed up.

  • other way around mate, trust me iv got gordons music book in front of me!

  • Read the message bud,

"Don't go by the names on his book, they got mixed up."

  • ah sorry i see what you mean now, so they messed up printing his book then?

  • Eh no they're not. The book has the names the right way round and at 4:16 the tune is upside down in Eden Court and at 5:12 is the fourth floor.

  • @davoman4321 lmao no 5.12 is upside down at eden court

  • Comment removed
