it is the king edward hotel. in fact, when this was made, leonard was trying to get out of making it, so he wrote a crazy script with Barrie Wexler while staying at the Windsor Arms(in toronto) in one night, with the idea that it would get the video production cancelled, but instead, you have one of the best and FIRST long form music videos(came out shortly after thriller)

the gypsy wife is Anne Ditchburn, the choreographer of this video. she was soloist and also choreographer of Canadian National Ballet.

It's great to see 'Hotel' on here. I had it on VHS, many moons ago, and figured it was lost to the ages. Anyhow, many thanks for putting it on here.

Thank you very much for posting this superb video. I watched the film many years ago - in the early 80's. As far as I know it won the "Golden Rose",an important European film award.
