How much was that train can u ride on it how much dose it way I seen one like that at a hobby store in ma it was a giant but not as big as that one maybe u can do a revew on it
Hey guys just if you were wondering bra5187 is the builder and opperator of this beautifully done Norfolk and Western Y6b. The craftsmanship is unbelievable! I cant even imagine the countless man hours it took in creating it, but it payed off BIG TIME! The most beautifulist Scale Model Llive Steam Engine that I have ever seen in my Life! Greatings from the United States.
Hi Guys that great engine made by a great german modelrailroader...now it would be finished and run every day (likes the orginal with coal, water and fire) thank,s for all your great comment,s..Pete
@globalintermodal U damn right Pete,i'm Shocked as Hell to see Craftsmanship like this here in the u.s,i thought our only skill was war.Damnnnnnnn that's a Fine piece of workmanship, thanks for putting it up.
I've driven one half a size bigger - it's 7.25" (184mm) gauge and is just down the road from my house. I don't own it and didn't build it - its owner has built several large US locos in this gauge and they're all masterpieces. Very enjoyable to drive! We had an open day a couple of months back where a child asked why the driver was putting black pebbles into the fire. Kids today need to know more about steam! lol
Definitely an N&W Y6b and not a Big Boy. Two wheel lead truck, single stack and front pilot with all the typical N&W details... plus a round 21xx number plate (Y6b series).

it doesnt say its a big boy and your wrong its a 2-6-6-2
bmxdevilpro88 4 years ago
that is not a 2-6-6-2. Look closely @ 0:27. You can tell the front drive axle is hidden by the pistons.

plus, if you read the description, he does call it a big boy
ronthecyborg 4 years ago
yeah, and you can look and see its articulated like the big boy.
1sp4wnk1ll4fun 4 years ago
I never said it was a BigBoy. If you read one of my other comments, I said it was a Y6b Mallet.
Not saying that you're calling it a bigboy, but that's how your post came out. Plus, there are other articulated engines besides the bigboy.
ronthecyborg 4 years ago
oh i wasnt, i was just refering to how it looked sorry for the confusion :)
1sp4wnk1ll4fun 4 years ago
very nice. But I just want to point out that that is not a BigBoy. It is a 2-8-8-2 Y6b Mallet.
Bigboys are 4-8-8-4's. Just thought I'd tell you that.

Hyce777 4 years ago

boeingLL747 4 years ago
Engines like that no way to buy 100000.00$ that,s not enough
takes thousends of hour to built function without any comprom.
likes the orginal.
