  • Hey guys just if you were wondering bra5187 is the builder and opperator of this beautifully done Norfolk and Western Y6b. The craftsmanship is unbelievable! I cant even imagine the countless man hours it took in creating it, but it payed off BIG TIME! The most beautifulist Scale Model Llive Steam Engine that I have ever seen in my Life! Greatings from the United States.

  • Hi Guys that great engine made by a great german modelrailroader...now it would be finished and run every day (likes the orginal with coal, water and fire) thank,s for all your great comment,s..Pete

  • @globalintermodal U damn right Pete,i'm Shocked as Hell to see Craftsmanship like this here in the u.s,i thought our only skill was war.Damnnnnnnn that's a Fine piece of workmanship, thanks for putting it up.

  • Dude, I'm at a lost for words, that thing is awesome!

  • Beautiful craftsmanship.

  • do u guys specially make this giant trains or can this size be bought ? i dont think ive seen this size for sale before? please respond :)

  • Wish I had one for my 7.5 gauge layout. Very nice loco.

  • its a size of a 7/25" engine!

  • correct!!

  • no problem :)

  • Far too cool.

    Great loco, cool video.

  • wet dream lol is it live steam???

  • its is.. there video of it running...

  • I've driven one half a size bigger - it's 7.25" (184mm) gauge and is just down the road from my house. I don't own it and didn't build it - its owner has built several large US locos in this gauge and they're all masterpieces. Very enjoyable to drive! We had an open day a couple of months back where a child asked why the driver was putting black pebbles into the fire. Kids today need to know more about steam! lol

  • Yep,that,s truth

  • Damn!

  • Whoa! That is one bad mother of a train!!

  • Thats so amazing, great effort!

  • how long did it take to build that the question lol

  • Is it a live steamer, or does is it electric?

  • live steam model

  • @SouthernRR4501

Does is it electric, thumbs up for his crappy grammar

  • cool Y6

  • All power to the N&W!

  • Huge and sweet

  • title says big baby so of course it aint no big boy! aint this a malet?

  • wow thats huge

  • look at 0:10 its a close up and im not seein it

  • it doesnt say its a big boy and your wrong its a 2-6-6-2

  • that is not a 2-6-6-2. Look closely @ 0:27. You can tell the front drive axle is hidden by the pistons.

  • plus, if you read the description, he does call it a big boy

  • yeah, and you can look and see its articulated like the big boy.

  • I never said it was a BigBoy. If you read one of my other comments, I said it was a Y6b Mallet.

Not saying that you're calling it a bigboy, but that's how your post came out. Plus, there are other articulated engines besides the bigboy.

  • oh i wasnt, i was just refering to how it looked sorry for the confusion :)

  • very nice. But I just want to point out that that is not a BigBoy. It is a 2-8-8-2 Y6b Mallet.

Bigboys are 4-8-8-4's. Just thought I'd tell you that.

  • Definitely an N&W Y6b and not a Big Boy. Two wheel lead truck, single stack and front pilot with all the typical N&W details... plus a round 21xx number plate (Y6b series).

  • Yeah, I know my big boys. That ain't one, cept its pretty damn impressive.

  • wow! do you know what the price of the engine was?

  • Engines like that no way to buy 100000.00$ that,s not enough

takes thousends of hour to built function without any comprom.

    likes the orginal.
