I think you're right. Children are fearless and that's what's so interesting about them. They are more open and bold and they learn more about the world because they are fearless. On the other hand, children don't have to worry about paying the rent or buying the food or supporting a family. I'd like to tell my boss off, but the fear totally overwhelms me. It's a fact of life: there are consequences for your actions. Your response?

the only way to be completely fearless is to surrender to Jesus Christ. All fears stem from the fear of death and we all are going to die. With Jesus He conquered death so we no longer have to fear it. if the worst thing that could possibly happen is death and we no longer have to fear it, then what do we have to fear?

@hughesjd83 i think that is one way. And i believe that many Buddhists are truly fearless because the spent their lives tapping into the unconscious. But i have never feared death and i did not use god or religion to do this my fears are much smaller yet quite big to me.

That's a bunch of crap. Doing something about your fear causes insensitivity to it. I box and wrestle in my spare time and I can honestly tell you that fighting everyday causes me to be less scared of fighting.

Exposure does drive fear down. Fear doesn't "go away". Step in a ring with someone and see if you can make it go away.

Tony Samara's message however relates to deeper fear, not the fight or flight instinct which is what you are referring to. Maintaining awareness of fear allows one to act upon it from a conscious decision rather than a conditionned and programmed reaction. In the logic exposed in the video, the "doing" that needs to be put in action comes from this conscious thought. This is the paradox of doing/non-doing as one lets go of the mind and tunes into a deeper intelligence.
