  • Awesome stash of very desirable good stuff. How bout an update? Whats in inventory now? Thanks.

  • @ThePhonoJack Still looks pretty much the same. I did sell a few of them, including the RCA Black/Grey radio/phonograph. Thinking about unloading more since I don't have the time anymore to refurbish them

  • Thanks for the comment! Hopefully, I will be adding more YouTube videos with some of these gems in working condition...

  • Thankyou.

  • Wow you have quite the collection I hope you get them all runnung some day. I have 2 old record players a 1961 Symphonic 4 speed player and a early 50's RCA Victor 45 rpm record player both working good.

  • Thanks for the comment! You have a great YouTube channel and I love your Symphonic record player!!

  • i have a garrard sp 25 mk ii 1965 fitted to a dynatron mazurka it been sitting for 22 years fired it up now i use it all the time do you think its worth doing some restoration to the toneare because its running fine with a new stanton needle. i think i might beause the tone arm sems tired

  • dude you are legendary! Let me know if you find another set of legs for the RCA Victor 1957, makes it totally retro!

  • Thanks for the compliment! Yes, the legs make the whole thing. If you notice, my legs also have the originala round, white plastic feet, which are almost always found missing on the units with the legs...

  • How can you restore those machines if its spare parts is not exist anymore?

  • Parts are still out there. The electronic components, such as tubes, capacitors, and resistors, are still around.

  • how much u want for one of the record player thet u dont want

  • Hi, I have the rca one also, it has the built in amp, and mine at the moment doesn't work, it might be the automatic, not sure it is in the cupboard, it's the one with the metal gold colour tonearm. I like watching your vids. Thx.

  • Thanks for the nice comment. More to come!

  • hope you get some of those great old timers going....

  • I'm trying to. I have that Arvin up and running!

  • That collection must have cost quite a bit of money. Someday when i graduate college and make good money, get a record player collection like that.

  • Thanks for your comment! They do tend to multiply, once you get going :)

  • WOW!! That is one huge collection! awesome!!

  • Thanks!Hopefully I can get them all working in the near future. Well, I already got the Arvin going and it sounds great!

  • That Pioneer Bluebird is COOL! I gotta search Ebay now...

  • Thanks TrashMagnavox! LOVE your YouTube page :)

  • Weird. I have an Arvin clock radio that's shaped like your opened Arvin turntable.

  • Thanks for the comments! At one time, I also had an Arvin alarm clock in a coral/gold color scheme with a clock face that was shaped like an "eye" Arvin had some funky designs!

  • did you saw my 1966 arvin ac/batt portable record player? i looks like a typewriter or a vintage computer when closed. i finally fixed the record changer on it, but need a one more part and the ss amp may need new caps since it sounds a little weak. cartridge an needls is still good.

  • Hey M! YES, saw your Arvin. Arvin really had some neat designs for their phonographs and radios. I think the Arvins are one of the most creative of all designs from this era.

  • Ha! I have that orthophonic...with legs! I won it on eBay years ago with the promise that they had just fired it up the night before. Ofcourse when I opened the box the turntable was rusted solid. Luckily, I had the same turntable out of a bigger console that had been beat up and discarded. It needs some work though, the basic adjustments, clean up and lube that I just don't know how to do. I'll get back to it one day. It's still serving a purpose though as a TV stand for a small TV. Oh well.

  • Wow!This is exactly what my basement would look like,If I had a basement! Mt attic was overflowing,as I was up to 22 or 24 or something which is why I have 4 players on ebay right now.Ive decided I am far more into portables than tabletops etc,so I am offing some of those and keeping the portables,or suitcases as I call em.Tell me you are selling the Arvin....seriously.I absolutely LOVE that players wedge profile.I should take a similar vid sometime walking around the house showing the players.

  • Wow! You have a great YouTube page and a great collection. I just bought a slide-o-matic record player attachment on ebay, haven't gotten it yet. Do you know if it uses tubes or not? Thanks!

  • Thanks XM!! Is your slide-o-matic an attachment or does it have a radio too? If it's an attachment, it doesn't have tubes and needs to be hooked into an amplifier/speakers to work. Glad to hear you are enjoying my site!! STAY TUNED FOR MORE!

    ;)

  • Hello! No, it's just the stand alone attachment. By the way, I just bought a restored Seeburg Q160 locally here in Phoenix. Can't wait to get it home and post some videos of it and the Slide-O-Matic. I will definitely stay tuned...

  • omg that's serious collecting stuff... thanks for sharing

  • Thanks!

  • lots of neat stuff...just like me a lifetime of projects

  • It's amazing how things accumulate. I have to downsize!!

  • WOW! Looks like a fun place to be.

  • Yes, it is! Just wish I had more time to work on them all.

  • Welcome, man! Thought you would appreciate this vid most of all ;)
