I have had ALOT of issues with the Samson Meteor Mic. This is starting to confirm my theory about their products being crap lol.

What XLR cables do you use?

I've done hardcore and hip hop shows for a LONG time. Yes, these abuse the cables, but I only ever get continual problems with these specific cables (ive owned about 12). About 8 of them have failed, and out of my 100+ other xlrs, I've only had about 5 other failures.

I´ve bough 5 packs (yeah,15) of these cables and still use them after four years with no problems, no hum, no buzz, no problem with phantom, phase. I guess they´re excellent cables and in a great price. Notice I´ve did not said they are excellent for their price, first they are excellent, then you are lucky they are cheap. I think you just had bad luck, but you should not tell people not to buy them.

First the cable I got with my first electric guitar(A cheap Yamaha) broke..

Then a Planet Waves cable broke..

All that in about a year.

This summer I went to Finland to get my Strat. Also got a Fender cable with it. It sounds awesome and looks great too.
