you could do with using a tennis ball in the original filming to help your tracking. it should work ok, also, maybe paint it a vibrant colour so it can easily be masked.

the red x appears there because u are using the trial version of the shine plugin. to activate the full version of the plugin, first apply the effect, then press "Options", then activate it by entering this serial key: 8420-8592-1500-8615-4937
