I bought a Chinese scooter, and it has been great. It is a 2008 CF-Moto E-Charm 150cc. If you treat it like a scooter then it will act like a scooter. i drive a 49.3 cc fox iron mountain its chinese i mean i have had to fix a few elerctrical problems other than that it is thew most reliable scooter ive ever had but all i have had is a 4 stroke 50cc , a 150cc fox 49cc is far the best 15000 miles on it i ride it every day and it goes 60 mph down hill no lie use to be real slow but after it broke in past 7 thousand k it went from topping out from 37 top to now i did remove some piece so now can twist the throttle backalot more goes 50 flat land
Dear Chinese Scooter users, I love the scooter but I don't know much about it-can I contact any of you by e-mail to ask some questions regarding kick-starting, battery maintanence, etc. There really isn't that much online useful info on these scooters
As my dad says, "If you're going to do a job, then do it right". That means don't get a cheap Chinese scooter, get a yamaha or a honda. Sure they're expensive but they will last and they don't have those "minor issues" to begin with.
Oh yeah I the pride for my was 1400 dollars FUCK THE HATERS, they're quick to hate but most of them don't even know how to get their carb to work right. FUCK YOU
To put it simply, NEVER EVER buy a motorized vehicle that was made in china. I remember when i was younger and i was given a brand new 110cc pit bike thing, Chinese it broke within a day the wheels kick start and engine casing cracked. they all have a bad track record of being made out of monkey metal and braking so so easily, always stick to known makes although they may cost more.
When I lived in China I saw bikes that were the same/similar to the one in this vid all the time. They were all given the generic name of "R9" despite being produced by a whole bunch of different companies, many being illegally produced by unregistered companies. I rode a few a couple of times and my main impression was how crap the brakes were and poor build quality.
Give me a break. I have a Chinese scooter if you want a service contract and a warranty to go with it then buy a Yamaha or Honda better yet a Harley. Now if you want to save some money China has kicked their butts! Yeah you have to do your own repairs and maintenance. So what this isn't rocket science. Just type in Chinese scooter and the problem.
I am sorry but with the known GARBAGE that Chinese made products are, you couldnt force me at gun-point to ride one of them!!! The Chinese cant even make a decent can-opener, so HOW in the WORLD can you trust a scooter made by them??? I bet the engine and transmission falls out of the frame in pieces at the 500 mile mark or at speeds above 30mph!! I bet the tires fall off when you wheel it off the dealership floor!! A Chinese motorcycle = BAD IDEA!
I have a Generic XOR Competition 50cc scooter, bought brand new for £900 in September 2011. So far, leaks oil, carbs gones, part of the engine weren't attached properly, brakes hardly work anymore, throttle has a tonne of slack, barely starts in the morning and when it does it's just jerking around and makes a horrible churning sound. Mirrors are small and when wearing a jacket you cannot see anything, mine only does about 30miles a tank. I'm never buying another chinese bike... EVER.
Meh who cares about your problems?? How come my friends and I never got those type of problem with our scooters? I'm growing sick of people who are having ALL the troubles in the world with chinese scooters but all the people I know don't have that including myself. Don't try the people on the internet go try a chinese scoot yourself too many liar out there
Even though I'm not a big Chinese product fan, in these scoots defense, I just came back from a Caribbean cruise. Visited Turk/Caicos. Rented a scooter (Chinese.) Let me tell you, these things were beat to hell and clearly very little or zero maintenance has been performed. They ran like tops. They did rattle, they did shake. Started and ran well all day. For the money, these little rattlecans are pretty impressive.
I agree with pretty much everything that was said, however everyones mileage is going to vary, from the start you have to change vital parts, the timing the belt, the carbs need to be adjusted often, it's a major headache, and after everything is said and done if you take it to mechanic you basically paid the same amount as getting a brand name bike. It runs great for the first month but after that is when shit goes bad, i use it to commute and it rattles to pieces.
Epic video review mayne !!! im actually on the market for one of these n yours look bad azz ! would u mind letting me know the name brand to see if i could find it out here , thanks in advanced .
Dont believe he=im dont buy chineese bikes. Even if you du manage to get all the minor issues fixxed at the beginning. The build quality is soo bad. The kickstarter will break. The front fork will break when u use ure diskbrakes to hard. The speedo will break. Everything will rust. The rubbers in the engine will dry out. The valves will loosen up every week etc etc.... chineese bikes are headeche.. u dont want them.
How do i know this? Im pizza delivery on a chineese scooter.
@jtech87 That is true, my boss bought 7 chineese bikes for delivery. After 2-3 weeks allmost all of them where in the shop. After about 4 months my boss decided to throw them all away. He did not even attempt to sell them.
@Mautaz I have one . Mine is runing boost . 80mph and up . no issues from the box . These are good when you wanna build them up to your liking. If you wanna see more search for puerto rico scooters you will be amazed of what we do in the island.
@Mautaz Pizza delivery on a gas scooter, heh, do them pizzas remain hot and fresh by the the time they arrive at the customer front doors? I deliver Chinese food on a Chinese gas scooter if you can believe that!!!
If you don't even know that most the time pizza are delivered on scooters in europ SHUT YOU MOUTH dumbass, america isn't the whole world even with internet you don't know simple things like that? I can t believe it seriously is your cave warm?
@Mautaz Do you or anyone on here know if they is a video on youtube on how to remove the motor on the Romans 150 cc? the part that holds the rear shock broke and i need to remove the motor to take it to a shop to get the piece that broke and weld it.
@Mautaz I had a Vespa 2005, now I have a Piaggio - both of them have a compartment that is to small/narrow for helmet. I also had a 4wheeler - Bashan 250ccm and the electrick cablrd underneath were lined and wrapped in a way that it looked like it was done by a child or drunk person. after 3 weeks the starter wouldnt work anymore so after 3 months I gave up and traded in in for a Harley FX STC 96¤ 2008 model.
but I use my Piaggio 50ccm in the city. ThM - Norway
@Mautaz I have a Chinese moped and everything you have named has happened, as well as some other things, I advise people to spend a little extra more and buy a better quality moped, it saves more money in the long run too
@Mautaz Chinese made scooters are just fine. That iphone you are holding is made in china. I have alot of these scooters and they are just as good as any other scooter. The dirty secret is that the Yamahas of the world hate these things and will trash them at every turn. Go spend 3x the money for the same thing if you want its your money.
@Mautaz i have a chineese bike and have over 3000 miles on it and it rides and runs great with regular maintnance. aka chain adjustment, oil and gas. i beat the shit out of it everyday. rev it till it wont rev any higher. dump the clutch and so on and so forth.
Looks exactly like my Roketa MC-23-150k, I don't have that gas cap problem, and the dash does suck. I bought it for 700$ and first thing anyone should do when buying china scooters is change the oil, change the spark plug, and tighten every bolt that could be tightened, I honestly think my header bolts were hand tightened. but I do love the scooter.
@jtech87 - thx for the video, good job. I'm seriously interested in a 250-300cc Trike. I'm looking at the Sunny 300cc trike (2 wheels in front for $3,999). But after doing a little research there are a lot of people out there who said they absolutely suck (product sucks & service sucks). It's hard to beleive they are still in business if that's true. On the other hand, I can't ignore what they say. Can you give me some guidance on what to believe? Thx!
@jatroup12 It's just like I say in the video. If you are okay searching the web for tips and fixing things on your own it is a good buy. If you are lazy and rely on dealerships to fix your car when it breaks down forget it.
cool ass looking scooter! you got good taste, workedyour way upto the ninja quickeh? do you still have the scoot? how many miles will it last you think?
I am thinking to buy Lexmoto Tommy 125. It will be my first moto and I need to do 20miles per day. I've been looking for reviews but i couldn't find anything interesting. Does anybody know anything about it? is it worth to spend £1000 OTR new one? / I am going to buy it here and they offer 1 year warranty. Any suggestion?! Should I go for it?
Can u tell me how many km's has it passed and how much would cost to make it 70-80cc? Becouse i have bought one before 3weeks and i have passed 300km's
Leaves me wondering how retarded you must really be... You paid $800 for it... Can't break it, nothings malfunctioning, yet you criticize the fit of small plastic pieces. One more time now. Say it with me. You paid $800. What do you expect?
@jtech87 hey i can only afford a 50cc but i dont want to get ran off the road cause im to slow but ill be on slow streets anyways when your ride yours do u ride like a motorcycle or du u ride like a bycyler
@Boondogll you fat fucking asshole. he likes it and thats all that fucking matters asshole. it astounds me how fucking retarded some people (you) really can be.
3 reasons why you should buy Japanese over Chinese:
1) - You help to rebuild a battered economy and country when you pay for a Japanese bike.
2) - Japanese bikes are better built, more reliable, safer and have much better dealer aftercare services
3) - Buying Chinese means you are funding the communist enslavement of over a billion people, and the lack of human rights, poverty and barbaric one child policy resulting in thousands of murdered babies.
well if any1 ever wants 1 i had an XS125-T13 fairly reliable and as far as maintince is concerned they can cost after 2 years of owning 1 they go wrong the loose conection on the rear LED light the weak kick started went throug my knee when i kick started it because the battery was flat it snaped its gone through bulbs like hell because u can't turn the lights off it throbed like hell once over 55mph i never had a problem with the gas cap comeing loose mine did 65mph ive taken her offroad
Personally I recommend Chinese bikes (even though i dont have one yet) if you're a type of guy that likes fixing stuff (when i was 10yrs old me and my friends would take apart mowers and weed-eaters and dirtbikes and go-karts and rebuild them for fun I had about 11 bmx bikes (my friend's dad had a junkyard) (and his mom worked on cleaning out houses after people moved) we got all kinds of crap trampolines go-karts bikes for free. anyways at the age of 10 I could build engines
those fake abs brakes have caused so many accidents. read up about these chinese scooters if u havent owned one! i promise you they will break down in less than 500 miles. soo many reasons WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY THESE POORLY MADE SCOOTERS!!!!
hey!!! shes just like my baby!! same color too! just a few different things though: the extra weird part under the seat is where my air filter sits, I i kept my rack on the back, my helmet fits under the seat just fine, and i am going to replace the headlights because they are NOT that bright. I think that if you live in a city like I do (Cleveland) that you need as much light on the road as possible to avoid the pot holes.
check out my channel to see some videos of me working on my bike.
You mentioned things that broke for the first few months. What sort of things broke and were parts easy to get online and how long did it take to get them?
@xpiecemealx these bikes usually are ordered online and put together by a shop or the new owner. The quality of materials vary. I replaced some bolts, and did my own oil and brake changes. Im not the BEST mechanic but my mom walked me though everything and its REALLY simple. I live in Cleveland and we have POC scooter shop that does almost everyones work. an oil change ther costs 50 bucks! I did mine for 10. and parts are super cheap. I got a replacement fender for $25 (it came cracked).
i got a roketa bahama 50 and after alot of wear and tear and me riding it for about 1500 km... i tried to start it and the kickstand jammed and it wont start now.... and i cant start it eletricly because it dosnt have a battery anymore... is the engine ruined? or if i bought a battery... do you think it would start eletricly
Thank you so much for this video. I'm most likely going to buy a scooter online from GS MotorWorks. Be sure I've done a GOOD deal of research into them. This, and other sources about Chinese scooters, has been greatly helping me become informed about maintaining one.
What fixes did you do to the bike to make it reliable? Were they just tightening bolts here and there, or actually replacing parts? How much extra money did you spend up to this point?
I had a chinese scooter for about 30days.. worst deal ever, the only thing good on it was headlights and mirrors.. other than that it was total crap.. got all of my money back.. 70% of the plastic was broken, after only normal driving.. 600km.. everything was bad.. even the fuel economy of the 4stroke.. my aerox use way less and got more hp..
@vectraB97 I think you just got a bad one. I dropped mine several times at different speeds (doing stupid stuff) and never cracked any of the plastics. The mirrors are crap by the headlights on this bike are amazing. Never had any issues with the engine either.
@jtech87 I didn't have the model you got.. 50cc made by quigqi... Everything was crap.. handling, suspension, breaks, frame, tires, wheels, plastic, performance, and even the fuel economy was ridiculous.. 0.5l only got me about 10km.. 50cc 4stroke fuel economy on level with a car up to 1400cc.. I expect the ktm 525 dirt bike i use to ride, didn't use more.. the Honda ct70 I owned when I was a kid gave me 8-12hours on 5l.. my aerox use 0.25-0.35 pr 10km. depends on how I ride it..
@vectraB97 This is what i dont understand manufactures should not be allowed to produce such rubbish its a waste of materials if its not going to last for more than a few months and then there is the safety side on mine the rear shoes would lock on and you would have to wheel the bike backwards to release them. and yet these bikes are given certificate of conformty. i would rather go back 10 years when most scoots were made in france italy etc and lasted years malaguti honda etc...
@MrBorderghost yes.. I talked to my yamaha dealer last year.. he said most of yamahas scooters are made in Italy, not japan.. it sounds about right since yamaha own the Italian minarelli factories.. the good thing with European and Japanese brand is how they always use racing experience to improve everything.. on the other hand chinese brands have close to no testing or research.. directly from drawning to production, or just a bad copy.. Europeans made the first scooters and dirt bikes.
Greetings. I have a JCL 250cc with the Yamaha/Linhai engine. I noticed you still had the original Chinese tire on the front.. I assume also on the back? I would replace those tires immediately. I had the same Chinese tire on the front of my JCL which gave me terrible head-shake. Thought it was the design of the front fork or the bearing on the steering column. Once I replaced the Chinese tire with a quality Shinko, the head shake disappeared. I've had to rewire parts of the electricals.
Get a kymco they are much better build quality and valve clearence settings are set spot on from the factory i doubt a lot of chinese factorys dont worry to much about settings as they belive it will be done as part of pdi or workers are to rushed when putting together scootersand so settings are very rushed, but what dealer wants to start removong rocker covers etc as part of pdi on a £600 scooter with about £70 quid profit as long as it starts rides its out the door...
@MrBorderghost The dealer I got mine from actually did a pretty thorough job checking it out before handing it over. But when I got it home I tore it apart myself and did a proper PDI.
@ldylkr yes it would be good Roketa,BMS,Znen,CFMoto are all good brands and you won't have a hard time finding parts for then parts are readily availible and these brands are good quality.
@ldylkr If you have a set of tools and like working on your car this bike will be fine. If you have never worked on an engine or don't have any tools, spend the extra money on something like a Honda.
I'm considering buying a JCL 150 with 16 inch wheels because my girl friend is shorter than I am. What do you think? I was going to buy it off line but NOW I may go to a store a check something similar out before I purchase one.
Does this scooter still run? I can get one by the people in Dallas for 789.00 - i just went back to Motocross and got rid of my street bike, but i need something to put along town with. And really like this style pop a new main jet in the carb and sure it would do wonders
Thanks for the info. I found a place in Phoenix that sells new Roketa scooters for about $700. I think you've alleviated a lot of my fears. I'll do an inspection myself and change all fluid prior to use. Thanks.
Great video. Entertaining and a very good assessment from what I can tell in showing a viewer what they'll get if they're considering one of these "Chinese" scooters.
I do plan on getting one, but knowing what's in store helps a lot as opposed to expecting a gas-and-go thing.
@TheMattmurdock On the title for this bike it is an '08 roketa. The model is something like MC-150. But really if you find a bike that looks like this no matter what it's called, it was probably built by the same people who made mine. With Chinese bikes, names and models are irrelevant. If it looks the same, it is.
I just got this exact same scooter a couple days ago and i noticed one big difference i felt the need to tell you about... Where you have that cheap, small "storage space" under the seat, I have an air filter. The tray it's in is shaped exactly like yours, so I thought yours could be missing? Of course that would be a big concern. I can send you pictures if you want to message me your e-mail address.
@tomatsplat Never fixed it. It only comes off every 100 or so miles, so before every ride I just pop open the seat and tighten the gas cap by hand. Never came off again.
On my Chinese scooter I've got a locking gas cap. It only takes a second to open it, keeps your tank safe from anyone putting things in it, and best of all it doesnt rattle off. I have a TaoTao 50 scooter myself and your exactly right... The first 100 miles my CDI quit on me and left me stranded, I found one cheap online, replaced the cheap plug with an NGK and did little odds and ends and now after owning it new for only TWO months it now has 2000 miles on it. Its a beast!
My concern is that if they are assembled so poorly and so many things need to be replaced and fixed, that there will be poor quality engines, carburetors, fuel injection, brakes, electrical system, etc. and you will have one problem after another. If you buy a new Yamaha, they would fix all these things for free, including fixing the gas cap coming off. Of course, the gas cap wouldn't come off in the first place on a Yamaha, or Honda, or Piaggio or Aprilia, or Suzuki or Vespa.
@dkw12002 One thing the Chinese do very well is engines. They are old school air cooled, SOHC, carbed engines but they are bulletproof. They use the same carbs the Japanese use and the same CVT belts. You don't have to worry about engines.
And actually the overall build quality is pretty good. The frame is solid, the plastics are tough (i've dropped mine a few times, no cracks), and the wiring is great. I would TOTALLY buy another one for myself.
@TheMattmurdock He paid $800 he said. Online these sell for $1200 so it looks like he got a good deal. Aprilia Sportcity 125 and Kymco Super 8 150 might be comparable and they sell for three times that...about $2400 out the door...under $3000 though. I paid $2100 out the door...tax title, registrtation, a year warranty, free roadside assistance for 1 year for a 2009 Aprilia Sportcity 125 3 months ago. These Chinese bikes often have little or no dealer support. That's the biggest problem.
end of the day chinese scooters sucked i had one, and had 101 problems with it, now i have a japanese one and havnt had one problem and rides 10 times better
Loved the review. Very informative thanks! I was just curious...Did you find a solution to the gas cap vibrating loose, and if so what was it? Also, what were the little fixes you needed to do? Could a newbie mechanic figure it out? thanks again!
@rps75 It takes about 100 miles for it to come loose so before every ride I just open the seat and tighten it by hand. Never had a problem since. For all of the fixes I had to do, google 'chinese scooter pdi'. The first result is a great write up of everything I had to do. It can be done by a newbie but it will be very frustrating and you will probably have to go buy lots of tools.
i just ordered this same scoot... had another adventure that I was CONSTANTLY working on. so I sold it and got this.....what "fixes" did you have to do within the first three months? other than the mirrors and putting locktight on the exhaust of coarse.
@aves1pm The only fixes I had to do were changing the glass fuses over to modern blade types and I always had problems with the muffler rattling. Everything else was preventative work like checking every bolt and connection and changing all the fluids and stuff. Never had to do anything major to it.
I live in dallas and am considering going to mishi motorsports in plano which is about 30 minutes from me north. I am planning to buy a 150cc scoot and my question is this, have you had any mechanical issues with it. I will get pretty good warranty on what I buy, but am worried about the potential for cheap chinese parts with engine, and transmission, carb stuff. And where did you buy your scoot in dallas. Any help is greatly appreciated.
@mrdefkon1 Mishi is overpriced. Go to Dallas power sports on Harry Hines. You can get the exact same bikes for under a grand if you haggle. If you are worried about mechanical issues don't buy a Chinese bike. The bottom line is for the first few months things WILL break. They will break often and most mechanics will not fix it. You have to be your own mechanic on these bikes so if you are not comfortable with a wrench, go buy a Honda or something.
i'd rather buy a old vintage vespa which costs freakin less and its spare parts costs less than any other bike's.. my uncle got one and he said, he would rather use a vespa than any other bike..
Be sure to replace those valve stems. The rubber on those will crack to the point of blowing out, which won't be pretty if you're going 50-60mph.

Chinese bike ok. Chinese build quality are fine but parts quality sucks ( you get what you pay for).
junjin18182028 4 months ago
I agree with pretty much everything that was said, however everyones mileage is going to vary, from the start you have to change vital parts, the timing the belt, the carbs need to be adjusted often, it's a major headache, and after everything is said and done if you take it to mechanic you basically paid the same amount as getting a brand name bike. It runs great for the first month but after that is when shit goes bad, i use it to commute and it rattles to pieces.

The valves will loosen up every week etc etc.... chineese bikes are headeche.. u dont want them.

Thx!

3 reasons why you should buy Japanese over Chinese:
1) - You help to rebuild a battered economy and country when you pay for a Japanese bike.
2) - Japanese bikes are better built, more reliable, safer and have much better dealer aftercare services
3) - Buying Chinese means you are funding the communist enslavement of over a billion people, and the lack of human rights, poverty and barbaric one child policy resulting in thousands of murdered babies.

hey!!! shes just like my baby!! same color too! just a few different things though: the extra weird part under the seat is where my air filter sits, I i kept my rack on the back, my helmet fits under the seat just fine, and i am going to replace the headlights because they are NOT that bright. I think that if you live in a city like I do (Cleveland) that you need as much light on the road as possible to avoid the pot holes.

You mentioned things that broke for the first few months. What sort of things broke and were parts easy to get online and how long did it take to get them?
xpiecemealx 7 months ago
@xpiecemealx these bikes usually are ordered online and put together by a shop or the new owner. The quality of materials vary. I replaced some bolts, and did my own oil and brake changes. Im not the BEST mechanic but my mom walked me though everything and its REALLY simple. I live in Cleveland and we have POC scooter shop that does almost everyones work. an oil change ther costs 50 bucks! I did mine for 10. and parts are super cheap. I got a replacement fender for $25 (it came cracked).

I had a chinese scooter for about 30days.. worst deal ever, the only thing good on it was headlights and mirrors.. other than that it was total crap.. got all of my money back.. 70% of the plastic was broken, after only normal driving.. 600km.. everything was bad.. even the fuel economy of the 4stroke.. my aerox use way less and got more hp..
vectraB97 8 months ago
@vectraB97 I think you just got a bad one. I dropped mine several times at different speeds (doing stupid stuff) and never cracked any of the plastics. The mirrors are crap by the headlights on this bike are amazing. Never had any issues with the engine either.
jtech87 8 months ago

MrBorderghost 8 months ago

MrPolymers 8 months ago
@MrPolymers Yep done that. The Chinese tires actually griped very well. They just suck in the rain.

@TheMattmurdock On the title for this bike it is an '08 roketa. The model is something like MC-150. Hey man,
I just got this exact same scooter a couple days ago and i noticed one big difference i felt the need to tell you about... Where you have that cheap, small "storage space" under the seat, I have an air filter. The tray it's in is shaped exactly like yours, so I thought yours could be missing? Of course that would be a big concern. I can send you pictures if you want to message me your e-mail address.

how did u fix the gas cap problem? :) plz answer need help!
tomatsplat 10 months ago
@tomatsplat Never fixed it. It only comes off every 100 or so miles, so before every ride I just pop open the seat and tighten the gas cap by hand. Never came off again.
jtech87 9 months ago
@jtech87
Its a beast!

the1songwriter 10 months ago
I agree with 99% of your review. I had 5 bikes so far (scooters and crotchrockets) I think most people would agree with me on this.
- quality of assembly and material its not bad, but could be better.
- they do break down (sometimes often) but parts online are dirt cheap
- they are the cheapest way of transportation and the price is not bad.
- You have to admit.. they are fun to ride. I love to put my kids on the backseat
- they are super easy to handle in traffic so you feel safer
klamatoconlimon 10 months ago
My concern is that if they are assembled so poorly and so many things need to be replaced and fixed, that there will be poor quality engines, carburetors, fuel injection, brakes, electrical system, etc. and you will have one problem after another. If you buy a new Yamaha, they would fix all these things for free, including fixing the gas cap coming off. Of course, the gas cap wouldn't come off in the first place on a Yamaha, or Honda, or Piaggio or Aprilia, or Suzuki or Vespa.
dkw12002 10 months ago
@dkw12002 One thing the Chinese do very well is engines. They are old school air cooled, SOHC, carbed engines but they are bulletproof. They use the same carbs the Japanese use and the same CVT belts. You don't have to worry about engines.
And actually the overall build quality is pretty good. The frame is solid, the plastics are tough (i've dropped mine a few times, no cracks), and the wiring is great. I would TOTALLY buy another one for myself.
jtech87 10 months ago 2
@jtech87 Totally agree, had mine 18000km, drive it 40km a day, extremely reliable and safe scooter.
Would definitely buy another if this one broke.

TheMattmurdock 10 months ago
@TheMattmurdock He paid $800 he said. Online these sell for $1200 so it looks like he got a good deal. Aprilia Sportcity 125 and Kymco Super 8 150 might be comparable and they sell for three times that...about $2400 out the door...under $3000 though. I paid $2100 out the door...tax title, registrtation, a year warranty, free roadside assistance for 1 year for a 2009 Aprilia Sportcity 125 3 months ago. These Chinese bikes often have little or no dealer support. That's the biggest problem.

Loved the review. Very informative thanks! I was just curious...Did you find a solution to the gas cap vibrating loose, and if so what was it? Also, what were the little fixes you needed to do? Could a newbie mechanic figure it out? thanks again!
rps75 10 months ago
@rps75 It takes about 100 miles for it to come loose so before every ride I just open the seat and tighten it by hand. Never had a problem since. For all of the fixes I had to do, google 'chinese scooter pdi'. The first result is a great write up of everything I had to do. It can be done by a newbie but it will be very frustrating and you will probably have to go buy lots of tools.

I am planning to buy a 150cc scoot and my question is this, have you had any mechanical issues with it.
