I played WoW for a few years (time spaced out), and I became totally burnt out a while back. It expressly rewards the players that spend the most time on it; yes skill is involved, but gear is extremely important to your success. Since it has a monthly sub, there are many elements designed simply to waste your time and it feels like a chore. Guild Wars 2 looks very exciting to me since the game appears to focus on content and your enjoyment of the game, not how much cash they can squeeze out.

GW you can beat the whole story with 4 friends (or however many are allowed in a party... forgot lol) while in WoW you better get a 20 man raid together just to get the ARMOR to fight the last boss and the drops are random too so goodluck with that. @BleakCabaler No it has to be a dagger. Dagger + Sword will change your 3rd skill. Your First two are your main hand weapon, your last two are your off-hand. Hope it helped :D

@OcoryustheBold The brutal fact is that WoW has the majority of its players simply by the fact that the game "demands" a hell of players to work.

And if you do not have "enough" players a MMO is doomed to fail ; thats kinda strange, but if your game has enough morrons, it will get more.

Ofcourse each game has its idiots, but some games simply draw them together.

Look at a game like EVE online it has a very small amount of "real" idiots, but its a special MMO that not everyone can enjoy.

They made it so everyone would be hanging out in the big cities instead of being out in the world therefore making most of the zones empty and lifeless. And with the dungeon finder tool being cross realm, you never had a reason to talk to anyone in your realm and play with them in the future.

WoW is in fact a pretty shitty game ; but its a pretty good Sims Chatroom.

A pretty big amount of players just played the game because of the "Clans" and all the friends they had in the game ; even just become part of a weekly Raid because they had a good time in teamspeak, the game itself was boring and mindless grinding is by no means "fun".

However, a fair amount of player WANTED the change, and they got what they deserve.

Nothing much really :( I expected much MUCH more from a game that's been in development for like 11 years =\ You can't use a lot of skills, and fightning is not bloody interesting :( It just doesn't hit the same nerve as Diablo 2. I actually enjoyed Titan Quest much more than D3 :(

Will the Thief be able to steal weapons and use them, regardless of weapon restrictions?

Will the Thief be able to steal weapons in PVP situations?

When a thief steals a weapon, is the initial owner of that weapon rendered without a weapon as long as the Thief is in control of it? Forced to use his/her secondary weapon slot?

This class alone could potentially end the palm-roll, reflex action archtypes as we know it. Players would have to respond dynamically in real time.

@checkthemdubs I think you have the wrong idea. The steal skill allows them to generate a new skill based upon an item that is "stolen" from the target. For instance, using the skill on a bird-like creature would take a handful of feathers and allow the thief to blind the enemy. The enemy doesn't actually lose anything.

take your time guys [arenanet]. most of the world is finished, on gamescom we saw most of the underwater world is finished (it wasn't on gamescom 2010), pvp is in quite a good stage of development, they need to finish up pvp, polish rest of the world, then balance, balance, balance, some more balance and again, balance. then comes the beta. there's some more polishing and balancing in the beta, and then, only then we will have a nice game to enjoy in. few more months or a year won't kill me.
