Hi hcastillo, that vintage 22" sounds great! Check out my vids, I have a sound-test of 3 vintage Avedis Zildjians that I recorded just after scoring a late-60's 22" Ride for $37 on eBay & cleaning it up. Amazing cymbals, but I think yours might sound even better. Send me a close-up pic of the stamp on yours, I might be able to help you identify the decade it was made.
wish I could give you the picture of the stamp but I gave the cymbal away...just playing!!!! Sure, I will just get it out of storage and send you the picture. Cool vids of your drum stuff...
The reason I have quotation marks around old is because this ride might be or look old to me, but in reality it might not be that old in to somebody else. It might be from the 70's, 80's. I want to take it to a Zildjian specialist but I just don't have the time. If I take it to a specialist and find out for certain that it is "old" I'll take the quotes off. Does it bother you that I have it in quotes?
LOL ,I'm in a better mood today. Which one...well sounds a little like this great 19 inch Zildjialir (sp?) I have ( The company changed its name to "Istanbul"
Cool! I recently play another brand, but I love the vintage Zildjians, I like the new ones too, especially K's but they're expensive!!! I like being on the hunt for vintage cymbals, especially when they're free!
I have one similar selling right now on eBay

my best bet would be a 22" K, maybe a medium heavy ride would be similar today, thanks for the comments...
