I'm a Democrat, and I think David Frum is one of the most sensible voices coming from the Right these days. I would speculate that he's more conservative than say a David Brooks, but I respect the man for sticking to his principles. Seeing as I'm a moderate Dem who finds Mr. Frum appealing, it's a wonder Republicans don't exploit his potential in appealing to Independents.

If I wanted the GOP to recover, I'd be urging every Republican to read Mr Frum's Newsweek article and follow his advice. He is right that as leader of his party, Limbaugh can only lead them to complete defeat.
