Amazing machine, but i think it would be faster and more efficient if the cars are inserted on it hanging by any vertical system.This way the machine will not jam and the working rpm could be faster.Anyway i think is a fantastic machine.

If it ran faster shredded metal would fly everywhere. Are designed to be fed like that so you can use a large forklift or a front end loader, ours at work does have a conveyor belt feeding it from above though.

Once again, there is no argument that a fixed facility will outproduce the the mobile plant. The mobile plant costs 1 M $ and very versatile. It weighs 30 t. is remote controlled, track mounted, and schredds two cars in five minutes. One American and one Oriental. Engine and tranny is removed. A fixed facility is about a 30 M $ investment. Both have their value. The small machine will work demo sites and schredd on site and save $ in transport costs and help the green thing too.

Yes, you are obsolutely right. However , these machines are track mounted. This machine is designed to travel to the site and recycle on site. Why, because it is much cheaper to transport one shedder than 100 cars. However, this shredder does everything. A whole shopping ceter or a hospital etc.
