@RenalJim You realize that the stimulus was federal money, right? Not state dollars. It was money that went from the federal government to the states to help alleviate their budgetary issues and retain state employees: fire fighters, policemen, teachers, construction workers and white collar government employees. Crist merely accepting the money doesn't add to Florida's debt...the debt is on the federal government, which is unfortunate yes, but it doesn't mean that Crist created debt and no jobs

Crist was right on the stimulus package -- he was being pragmatic. States were and still are facing budget crises, and your telling me you wouldn't accept federal money to help alleviate your state's problem??
