is it me or does this one have better graphics? sonic seems a bit slower, but he's shining for god's sake. the graphics in the prototype actually look better than those in the GC version. shouldnt it be the other way around?

@sonicmike1995 Well, the version featured on Gems Collection was actually a port of the PC version, not the Saturn version, and the Saturn version is indeed the better-looking one.

@sonicmike1995: That's because the one on the Gamecube is not a port of the saturn version,it's actually a port of the PC Version,so basically it emulates the graphics of the PC Port,not the original saturn version.

The reason this game is so awkward is because they used car racing controls instead of 3D platformer controls. I also don't think the Saturn version was quite finished when compared to the PC version. The are a few small details missing, like the hair spikes on Tail's face.

"Prototype" doesn't mean that it's not a real game, it means that it's an early version of it pre-dating its release to the general public.
