@dander337 the soprano writers squeezed a lot of satire and in jokes into those scenes. Sil at the film opening "so someone actually writes down stuff for the actors to say ? i thought it was them that came up with the words"...

on Friends years ago the writers came up with killing Joeys character in Days Of Our Lives because he said he came up with a lot of the dialogue. This actually happened in real life with the Friends cast saying a lot of it is ad-libbed (which it wasnt)

The main thing I get out of this video is how Benny and Murmur could give two shits about what the other people are thinking - they manage to walk right up to the main speaker and clock him in the head with a notepad and drag him off to the SUV without giving one iota of care to the others - and repeat the same M.O. when they dump him out of the car.
