Leventissa - I'm not sure if there is such a thing as "dated" humour, just different kinds...?
Pam's humour is perennial; it is thoughtful, inspired and clever, and makes a refreshing change from the foul-mouthed, dirty-minded, so-called humour popular today - often not funny at all, but modern audiences laugh at smut in a mindless way.

Lovely woman but what dated humour. It is a generation thing. I can see why so many of the retired expats here enjoy her. Joep is a lovely interviewer!

@Leventissa I think Pam Ayres is hilarious and although I watch modern comedy, at least she doesn't use bad language and smut which gets incredibly boring after a while. I can relate to all her stories.
