  • Nice lift! I was wondering though. Is it harder for a taller guy like the man in this video to perform the deadlift movement? It seems like shorter guys can lift heavier amounts of weight for the deadlift. Maybe because of the shorter range of motion?

  • Tch...

  • Your vids are always so awesome man, perfect form per usual, what are you pulling these days?

  • amazing strength

  • awesome lifts roebuck

  • Man that is an awsome rep, and check my vid of 405 at 160 seventeen yr's old. I am now 18 and max 460 at 170 deadlift. I have alot of other crazy vids my twin bro and I make but its there. Just keep lifting and stay strong.

  • lol my dad did that in high school

  • good job!

  • well, thats great.. I'm 17 6'2" 200 lbs 12% BF 1.5 years training..

I just maxed that yesterday I was pretty happy... Then went on to do a 205 powerclean and fucked my wrist.. lmao.. well I'm out for a week God Damn I'm pissed!!!

  • that was my opener yesterday at my powerlifting meet.

  • Wow! great form It looks like the lockout is the hard part for you. My sticking point is the floor.

  • @Daniel7772010

    It's probably because he's tall?

  • good job. i'm hoping to hit that weight pretty soon.

  • Ya bro very nice form more than i can say for myself I did that at my last meet wasn't easy. Keep up the good work

  • you have excellent form and a good amount of weight... keep it up

  • yeah looks better from this angle. the main reason i said something is when i first hit the 4 plate mark (haven't got much past it) i started getting pains on the left side of my back. i realized it was probably due to my grip, so i went out and bought straps and haven't had problems since. other recom from a stupid dude. drop the weights when you ge the rep up. a majority of injuries come from the eccentric part of the lift.

  • thanks actually I appreciate the feedback.

Fortunately I haven't had any muscle problems like you describe but I am always cognizant of the potential and do my best to maintain strict form and listen to my body. I would love to drop the weight on the eccentric but the gym is in an office building and those below don't appreciate loud thunderous weights hitting their ceiling LOL

  • you dont have back problems becuase you have excellent form...the guy saying he needed straps due to his grip hurting his back....I gaurantee its not the grip...

  • In an office building?

  • also, when you drop the weight from the top its not an offical lift you need to vring the bar down with you thewhole way,

check out my channel to watch me deadlift 500 lbs at age 16

  • great form

  • haha, love the camera shake when you lower it down

  • good work!
