i remember meeting them outside Whelans in Dublin a number of years ago following their show there.Nick and Greg were 2 of the biggest assholes ive ever met in my life.Both dripped of ego and conceit.The rest of the band were great to meet especially Aaron who was an absolute gent.However,given how obnoxious the other 2 were,i binned my PL records that night and never bought another PL item.

it's one of the greatest albums ever! when i first purchased it 15 years ago i listened to it 10 times a day! for about 6 months. of course now i don't listen to it at all! But everytime i hear a song from it joy fills my heart (although its a bit sad and doomy).

I will see them live tomorrow playing the whole album. it will be a great experience after all these years!

I love the music beyond words, but I always had trouble with Nick's vocals on some of this stuff. It's passionate but he sounds like he's singing in the wrong key throughout the entirety of the song, especially during the "praying for a change" part.. like a tone-deaf Dio there. I'm digging the new album though. The title track is great. Whole album is being streamed on their myspace now, so go check it out.
