so my question is,,,do you really believe this propaganda or is being a priest a simple excuse from checking out of society and disassociating oneself from the stress of everyday life?. You have to admit it is a very lonely vocation no?

@doogwood Do you really believe this propaganda that the priesthood is a "lonely," "gloomy" vocation? Really? If you do, then you are extremely naive! How old are you? Have you reached the age of maturity? Perhaps you should try to spend a typical work day with good priest. It will help give you a glimpse of a very demanding, exciting, love-filled vocation. Like none other on earth. Many are called, but few are chosen. Not at all like the devil would have us believe!

Because I want to make others happy by bringing them Christ, because I'm tired of living on empty, because I believe in eternal Life, because alot of people don't know Christ, because I want more people to know Christ, because the world is waning and dying for lack of Christ, because to follow Christ is the best adventure ever, because he's worth my whole life...some really awesome answers!! Anyone who wants to share Christ with those who need Him is great with me. And I'm not even a Catholic.
