  • i have the same case, graphics card/cards, cpu, same motherboard. lol

  • this is so low i have a pc for 8000 dollar ^^ 4000 euro ^^ i have 2 gtx 295^^

  • LOL, 1000w for this system

  • as I watched the vid I said: omg... another shitty unbalanced rig ( 1 Graphics card, 1kW PSU, water cooling kit.... )

but at the end you wrote Tri Sli, so I calmed down... that'll be good that way...

btw, why don't you buy these stuffs by yourself and install them? cheaper, faster...

  • Nice rig.

Must have cost a alot tho.

  • you thanked ur dog......FAIL and the q6000 rules i have mine at 4ghz 75c full load (cooler master v8 wit 4 fans) so fuck u vipergtsr

  • dude its been a month now where is the new pc vids?????lol

  • ur procesor suck ass, phenom II 920/940 is better

  • the Phenom ll 955 kick ass

  • Nice setup :)

    @JustMatrix

His PC will stay cool with a single fan. He has 3 fans and a water cooling system. he could do some serious overclocking and not even go over 100 degrees...

  • overcloking bad dont or you will need a new Pc

  • have you got the tri sli yet?

  • Hey man sweet build. im tinking about getting the turtle beach hpa2. Are they worth 73$? thats how much they are at newegg. The daily shell shocker lowered price was 53$ but i missed it =[

  • My comp.

    E8500

    EVGA nForce-790i Ultra SLI

XFX GeForce 9800GTX+ 785M black edition

    MIST, 1000W (for sli later)

    VelociRaptor 150GB, 10000RPM

    Corsair Dominator TWIN3X 1800MHz DDR3

    Antec Nine Hundred

  • How much did that beast set you back?

  • B-R-A-G

  • hey i would sugest one thing... use cooling fans it keeps the temp lower and its cheaper and better for overclocking

  • hey im trying to decide from which proccessors the q6600 and and core 2 duo e8400

  • go with the PC Power & Cooling 610-Watt Silencer for just 1 card, that's what i use and this thing is a beast.

  • Why did you go with the Ultra branded psu? Also, are you actually going to use SLI? If not and you are only going with a single card I would have used a different mobo and a 4870 1gb. Also, I don't think you should go with the 65nm q6600, you should buy one of those 45nm ones, better performance and they'll overclock better. Also as far as Bluray odds go LG makes the best on the block, the rest have a pause as they start blu-ray play back.Just some ideas.

  • If you have three 9800 gtx's you wont be able to put in the sound card. PCI Express X1 slot will be covered. (I think)

  • hey please tel me if I use only one 9800 gtx+ SSC and one Hard drive and all u have but just one, then what do i need for power supply??

  • What size and how fast is your hard drive? To make things safe, I'd suggest a 600watt power supply. The only problem I find with lower watt power supplies is they don't have enough extension chords. Like some don't even come with 6-pin chords for graphics cards; But, 600 watts is power enough to be able to run an average SATA hard drive and 9800GTX+ SSC.

As for Windows 7, you don't need to use the touch screen capabilities. I know I'm not.

  • it's a Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB Hard Drive - 7200, 16MB, SATA-300

  • Actually.

500W is enought for 8800GT in SLI

and 530W is enough for 9800GT

and i suppose that 600 should be enough for sli 9800GTX

  • windows 7 is touchscreen u need a new monitor

  • how much was dat monitor :P:P:P

  • I believe the monitor was 400 dollars. It's an awesome monitor and well worth the price.

  • Very kewl rig bit similar to mine :)

  • so, to me, its a waste of money. but it's your money to do as you wish with.. still though, all that hardware is very nice, and if you plan on playing WAR, you'll be running in highest settings even in full epic rvr battles without the slightest hint of lagging hehe.

  • I totally agree with you, though. It is a waste of money. Well, not to me, but to alot of people. I totally understand where you're coming from. I, on the other hand, like to benchmark alot. I'm also very into overclocking and do have "competitions" online, displaying my OC and it's performance.

Not only that, is I build computers like this constantly. Computers that are better than my own, because it's my job. I finally just told myself, I should keep up, as well.

  • Yes, I love gaming, but I love computers just as much if not more. I currently have 750i sli ftw motherboard and sli'ed 8800gt's right now. The current release from nVidia is 280 set. The performance and drivers of the 280 are lacking, thus I'm getting the 9800's.

As I stated before, I need to keep up with all this (besides the fact I enjoy it), but it helps with business. Especially when customers see the computer you're on, they'll be impressed and put more "trust" into you.

  • Also, I'll be putting up a video of me assembling the computer and reviewing each part, so if you're interested, feel free to come on back and watch the video. It won't be posted until the end of next month, or the beginning of the month after; Whenever the shipment comes in, of course.

    Thanks, once again, for watching!

  • Sounds like a pretty kickass PC.

  • Yes, it's going to be a very good PC for multiple things, not just gaming. I also can't wait to benchmark it once I get the overclocking finished with. I'll keep it updated on YouTube with the whole overclocking, specs, and upgrades.

I'll also post the scores it receives throughout time. The only thing is I wish I could choose a different case, but I'm on a budget, so I decided to mod the case myself, rather than buy one that costs more.

    Thanks for watching!

    :D

  • Congratz, happy gaming man :)

  • Thank you for the comment and for watching.

    :D

  • Two years ago, I did the same exact thing. But I spent alot less money than you because I built my own Rig and I know a guy who has his own PC store. Anyway, I'm still using the same PC now, but I did upgrade the Vid Card to a 8800GT. Thats all you really need with today's games bro. What do u need two Nvidia 9800 GTX's for??? Just to tell poeple u have them?? LOL.. 8800's wuild work fine

  • And this is a rig I'm building myself. It's not pre-built. I would order a better case, but I'm planning to mod the Cooler Master Cosmos; And I didn't say two 9800's, I said Three (Tri-SLI). I'm hardcore into benchmarking, thus I'm going for performance, quality, and my scores.

The 8800gtx's are still top-of-the-line graphics cards; Being a builder, I have to keep up-to-date with my parts. The current computer I'm on is running 8800gt's. The 9800's I'm getting are the 9800gtx+ SSC editions.

  • The 9800gtx+ SSC editions clock FAR better than the 280gtx cards. Not only that, but they run nearly as good, if not better, than the 9800gx2's.

And the lovely thing about it is, the 9800gtx's cost far cheaper than the 9800gx2's and 260 and 280 cards. I'm not a large fan of ATI, although their 4870x2 cards are epic, the 9800gtx+ SSC editions still clock better and are still cheaper.

  • You dont need all that hardware dude. By the time you'll need that much l33tness, there will be far better machines, graphics cards, PSU's, MB's, Hard Drives, and processors. In 2 years, everything you just listed will cost half of what your paying now. And guess what?!?! people like you will go out and spend top dollar for the newest stuff, and you'll be telling them the same stuff I'm telling you. And the wheels on the bus go round and round, :o)

  • I know I don't need it. I want it. I build custom computers for a living (And on my freetime, I game ALOT). Yes, MOST games don't support SLI graphics (Crossfire if you're an ATI user), but when you're into modding, or custom building, you try to push it to the limits.

Like I said before, there are ALOT better CPU's out. I'm getting the CHEAPEST Quad (Q6600), yet it's still one of the best for overclocking. I know I'm spending a bunch, but I've always have for computers. It's part of my job.

  • See, for me, my current PC is perfectly fine for what I'm currently playing now, and what I plan on playing in less than a month. I have a AMD 64x2 4600 with 8800 GTS, 4 gig ram Asus Nforce 590 MB and a 550 Watt PSU. Now, I built this PC in January of 07. At the time, there were a bit better processors, MB's, but the 8800 gts was the best card at the time. Anyway, games really haven't changed much since then. I play EQ2 on the highest settings and it runs fine. I'm playing WAR beta right now,

  • and WAR displays much lesser graphics to run on high settings, although the rumor is that the final textures, lighting, and graphics havent been released yet. The thing is, I know I'll be able to play it on the highest settings without lagging. And this is with a PC that I paid 1000 dollars for, including the 4 gigs of ram and 8800GTS. I also have a 100 dollar case with 4 cooling fans. Not to mention the WD 7200 rpm hardrive. The point i was trying to make is, most games wont even use what u hav

  • Huh , you gotta be kidding me.

Luckely you are only kidding you're excited so much about getting a new computer.

  • I'm not. I'm not saying this is the best rig out. It's not, but if I had the money to throw around, I'd definately tri-SLI right off the bat. I'd also get a Intel Quad Extreme CPU, instead of just a Quad.

I'd also get the EVGA 790i and rock some DDR3 RAMs, but sadly, I'm not. No, this system will be good and still last me years to come; But as most computer builders, such as myself, do- Sell the computer whole and use that money to help purchase a newer rig, or parts.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Dude but how can you be so excited of getting a new computer ? Even if it was THE BEST I still don't get it ...

    Kinda sad don't you think?

  • Not really. Have you ever owned an actual true gaming rig? Are you heavily into gaming and computers? I'm not talking about just software on your computer, but do you keep up-to-date with companies such as XFX, EVGA, nVidia, ATI, AMD, Intel, etc. with MAJORITY of their products?

If not, then I'd understand why you wouldn't feel this way. Keep in my, I build computers for people. Never my own computer. I do it for a living. I make money that way.

  • It's my job. I build computers like this, I build computers that are better than this. They're not all mine, I don't have graphics cards laying around, or CPU's, or any other computer parts.

All of the ones that are here are already purchased items that belong to a customer. I work a job, just like anyone else. I get paid for what I do, be it modding, custom building, or overclocking. It's not like I get free parts from companies, or that I'm a computer store with spare parts.

  • So purchasing new computer parts, FOR MYSELF, with MY OWN MONEY, is very exciting, because it means an upgrade for me (Not that my current rig is bad), but it's good to keep up-to-date with computer parts in your OWN computer, when you're in a business such as myself.

    Thanks for watching, though.

I'll be posting the video of me assembling the computer (and giving the review for each part) by the end of next month or the beginning of the month after. Depending when the shipment comes in.
