the fact that 90% of what she does are idiomatic phrases is amazing. you can know how to say four words which in one language would make sense together, but in another they don't.
they're both a "th" sound. in english you use them both all the time. the thorn (þ) is the "th" as in "thigh", whereas the eth (ð) is the "th" as in "they". it's that simple :D
