I think you have the right technique, and it was very rythmic, but I thought it lacked groove. Maybe lowering the speed down a notch could make it sound better

Really rythmic,groovy...like Vic do ti himself! Any advises how to let hear that left hand tapping...I have hard time to ear it well when I'm playing,I have to use my right thump and it cut me for the muting rythm on G string...???

@Javic2112 For the percussion part, I use only my first and middle finger.
Down 1st finger
Up 1st finger (like a pluck)
----
Down 1st finger
Up 1st finger
Up middle finger
Insert the notes always using this background percussion partern and it should work fine !

It is a Ibanez SR500. My amp is a Ampeg BA210 and I'm using a boss ME20B effects pedal.

Very nice. I enjoyed that. Played for over 20 yrs. Play funk, but you have the right thumb/sweep thing going on better than me. Nice job.

I think I still need to work on my funk technique but I have to admit that I'm getting comfortable with the thumb/pluck technique that Victor use. After all, I started playing bass only 6 year ago :-)
