@OldskoolDM80s90s V-Amp Pro has 3 Studio out modes (S1,S2,S3) and 2 Live out modes (L1,L2).
Each mode has its own config for the digital output (AES and SPDIF outs), analog outs (XLR, and balanced/unbal jacks), effects, analog and digital speaker simulators, and EQ.
I use S3 mode for recording. Raw digital out (no speaker sim) goes to the PC on the SPDIF plug, and basic speaker sim makes it sound natural on the headphone jack and the XLR outs.
nice playing dude...do you think the v amp pro is worth buying? can you get a lot of sounds from it? that sound quality? bc i have a modeling amp (line 6 flextone II HD) which blows. sounds like shit. but i dont have 1500 bux to go blow on a brand new mesa or a vox ac30 does it do a good job in terms of sound and modeling?
I've been using the VAMP for about 2 years and used it also on Stage. If you know how to set it up then you can get good sounds (even if you go from the vamp straight to the PA). I don't really use the effect section. The Reverb and a Delay are ok.
But it all together it depends how "your" sound sounds like..
Hey, any idea on how to hook up the Vamp pro to a computer for recording?

excellent - I used the V-Amp2 for several years recording death & black metal - very underrated piece of gear. I wanna get the V-Amp Pro one day...
