  • I think he was a little hard on himself. The UAS pilot had potential...but yeah, it was pretty bad. LOL

Super stoked for Red Dwarf X though!! WOO HOO!

  • Aw I like him. Whoever's responsible for Red Dwarf USA should be hung though

  • I don't hate it....a few of the jokes that aren't stolen copy and paste from the Original show are pretty funny

  • Good to see an actor being honest about the dren they have to play. There's so many BS interviews where they pretend to love the rubbish they did to pay the rent.

  • Lister wasn't drunk, just lazy and wanted to get a free ride... that's why he brought the cat, it was all to get a free ride... so my mom explains to me :D makes more sense then being drunk

  • @XxheartlessgirxX Your mum's right. That and to pay for the plan that he planned. Afterall he planned it :)

  • Wish I could get drunk and end up on a spaceship. 1056th time's a charm....

  • red dwarf USA went down faster then a 50 cent hooker

  • when was this interview

  • @AussieRoadTripper I think it was done around 2008 or 2009

  • good interview glad to see Craig still remembers all about the show proves he's not lying about being a fan

  • I recall the fans being upset more about the lead being changed to a Caucasian rather than his being "prettier" than the UK version of Lister. As if the network thought Americans couldn't deal with a Black man in that role. A real slap in the face.

And then they had to make Cat a female in the 2nd version and that was the end.

Just too much change just for the sake of change.

Can't hate Bierko for it because of how much the (real) cat in the 1st pilot liked him.... :-)

  • @robotrix It wasn't anything to do with race.

  • wow! its so good to get the opinions of one of the main victims of RDUSA. It did have potential though. The writing was just early to mid 90's US humour which was cack. They have not only caught up to UK humour but are also overtaking it.... Bout time!

  • @hollywood4130 They are separate things on different paths - not on the same path with one of them overtaking the other.

  • very interesting :)
