@niteowlification Even though the Germans were poorly equipped, outnumbered and starving, they still managed to pull off a 3-1 kill/death ratio in the invasion of Russia. Stalin was like 5'5 and had one short leg and one long one. He was scum. Hitler was 5'8 and survived many battles in WW1 as a runner. He was awarded an Iron Cross. Hitler was definitely no choir boy. He committed suicide because being dead is better than being tortured by Russians. They had numbers. Not skill.

@KhonSiam Hitler didn't prepare them as he solely believed that victory could be achieved before winter - he was told that the Wehrmacht should prep for the winter but given his stupid move in taking full command of all military matters, it was of no avail - while SOME winter uniforms did make it to the front, most were still far from reaching their destination as he placed more priority on ammo and fuel. Funnily enough, Hitler is also the reason why Barbarossa was delayed in hitting Moscow.
