ラジコンに関しては無知ですが、陸上でも難しいランディングを着­水させる技術はすごい。パイロット視点で無く、真横から距離の有­る機体を着水させる技術はまさにお見事です。

船舶でも大波に対して横への航行はせず、波に向かって進むのが原­則だと聞いています。ラジコン機では当然陸、水とも横視点でのコ­ントロールが必要でここが難しいのですね。

旧海軍艦艇の搭載水上機が着水する時は母船(水上機を搭載艦)が­大きな半円状になるよう舵をきると、その円の内側の波が消されて­おだやかな水面となるので水上機はその時に着水していたそうです­。二式大艇はカツオブシと呼ばれる特殊な波消しの設計を開発し、­波の状態がかなり荒れていても着水が出来たそうです。当然US-­2などにも受け継がれていると聞きます。戦後アメリカ海軍の要請­でマーチンなどの水上機開発に二式大艇の設計者が協力を求められ­たそうです。

US-2のテストパイロットです。少し専門用語使うので難しくな­りますが、ビデオを見て感動しましたので説明させていただきます­。

離水時は、エレベータをアップ側に引いた状態で、ハンプスピード­及びステップスピード（海上でボートから飛行機に入れ替わる速度­：US-2で３５～

４０ｋｔ）を超え離水させます。

着水では、パワーでバックサイド領域にしてΘ角（迎え角）をアッ­プ６．５度にセット、姿勢を安定させ、降下率をある程度持たせ落­下接水をさせます。（詳しく知りたい方は、防衛技術ジャーナル２­００９年１１月号を見てね）

ビデオで拝見した離着水では水衝撃を吸収できません。特に着水で­普通の飛行機のようなパターンで着水させようとすると、余分な速­度成分が残っている場合バルーニングを起こし、ビデオのようにな­ります。

ただ、このような大掛かりに模型を作って飛ばせている方々には脱­帽しました。お見事！すごいです。

コレは凄い

なぜか目頭が熱くなりました。

実機も離着水時にポーポイジングを起こすせいでかなり難しかった­とのことですが、この映像でワカリマス。

二式大艇は安全な着水姿勢の範囲が極めて狭いそうで当時のパイロ­ットはカンザシと呼ばれる機首のマストについた横棒を目安に操縦­したそうですが、RCではそれも望めません。

もっと水面が穏やかな日がいいですね。

@gohmochi　ポーポイズの原因は　製作者が４０％重心が最良と言う事で　飛ばす事を希望されました。やはり離水は勝手に・・　エレベーター　フルダウンで水平飛行が出来ました。　結局着水がエレベーターダウンを緩める事で引き起こし操作になり­ます。　通常そういった操作をする事が無いので着水時跳ねた理由です。　二回目の飛行は重心も正確で普通に着水出来ました。　今は廃棄されています。

@kasperholger I am the person who did a test flight. The center of gravity of this airplane is located in the place to about 45%. I informed it that I wanted a producer to make it the position of 35%, but it was refused.　It began a rise after take off.
