@sidkings I've already started auctioning off the only silver coins I've ever owned. During the auction I've been looking at videos of silver. I think I'm developing a case of sellers remorse. If I had cleaned the coins before putting them up for sale I would prob. not be selling them.

@mcgrimes Hi there.. these coins werebought from bullionbypost(.)co(.)uk but I would recommend bullionuk(.)comthey are cheaper.... any silver you buy in the UK you pay 20% VAT unless you become VAT registered and claim it back but its a headache and I would advise it unless you're planning on buying and selling bulk etc...
I really mean this out of good faith. Do not expose your collection out therebecause during a high inflation period people may go nuts and try to steal your gold and silver. Keep it secret!
Sidkings, my kilos will fetch at least £700 each, they're series 1 tiger, ox and rat with quite low mintage of about 1800 each. Very lucky with them as got them along with a kilo kookaburra 2007 all for £1000 from same seller who was getting rid to buy gold. Well pleased, got some engelhard, star metals, kit Kat bar all 10 ozers. I'm very picky & don't like the enamelled or gold plate stuff, just silver.
Looking forward to see that 5 kilo beast. Keep well hidden. It's good to look at historical charts, back in 2000 silver spot was about $4 an Oz but now 27+. would be good to see it's price grow by a factor of over 7 over the next decade would see it at about $ 190 an Oz. I think it will be higher than that.

I think silver now should be at least $50 oz I think $32 by the end of the year.. to be honest Ill probaby sell my silver off within a year.. the gold Ill keep... Holy shit Sid I want one of those monster 5 ks, I got 4 x 1kg Perth lunars series 1's and they are amazing, you've got the bug. I dont buy too big as the number of customers when you sell reduces as they not all in the position to buy a big monster. I got my 1 ks at £250 each but that was jan 2008 at a bargain price, biggest I buy now is 10 ouncer and 1 ouncers.

@09SRILANKA Banks buy big bars, as well as bullion dealers. There are always people with money who can afford 1 kilos, even gold £28k for a gold bar is nothing to people who have money and want it! If the bubble in silver bursts, and people have thousands of 1 oz and 1/2 oz that's more difficult to sell, you have to ebay that shit off. Just my thoughts.
@kook2222. See your point, i guess i forget theres folks out there with money, lots of money! Only good thing with Ebay folks seem to pay premiums over spot but obviously you have to take the fee price off your sale. Biggest ive got is kilos but cant really raise the cash for any larger bars, wish i could. Ive got a bit of a mix 4 kilos, a few 10 ozers and the rest are 1 oz art bars and rounds and some junk silver which my kids mess with, starting them young bro!
@09SRILANKA 1oz bars and coins will always be a hit on Ebay, no kidding, I was just talking in general that the smaller stuff is going to take longer to sell, should the bubble pop and that's "IF" people should sell, I think they'll hold tight, I will. I'm not anticipating making money this time, but in 10 years when the next eco glitch happens I'll be armed with a variety of sizes. 250 grams 10oz bars 5oz bars ect. Maples are good too. One thing is sure, I believe in silver, it's a winner!
@kook2222. Im with you there ive only been in the game since Jan 2008 and could if i sold make a very tidy sum but i dont need to sell & will just keep buying for now. Silver is a winner now and will be so in the future. Just wished my friends and family would have listenned to me, only my brother did and he got in late March 2010 & is still very happy that he got in when he did. Just trying to get my hands on some junk silver as we speak!
Sidkings I've just done some sums, my silver at 2days spot would buy 4.58 troy of gold at 2days spot, the moves gold made 2day would make 4.58 troy worth $80 more all in, the moves silver made today would make my silver around $300 up ie increase today over same value of gold about $ 220. That's why I like silver but there's no guarantee it will always go this way.
@09SRILANKA ABSOULETLY... :-) I was thinking about what you said with regards to having a greater amount of silver than gold. I came a corss a really good article on kitco (kitco.com/ind/Wilson/nov162010.html) its a no brainer.. Im swapping a krugger rand for a 1 kilo kookaburra. @09SRILANKA Ive finally recieved my monster 5kg bar of silver and wow, it is a beauty... :-) you could kill someone with it its that heavy..LOL.. Im still waiting for some more items to arrive but Im gonna try and stick a video on here by sunday... although I am really really annyed at goldline.com my maple leaf arrived with scratches on it, the fools didnt use bubble wrap or even a plastic capsule.. 9999 gold is very soft.. ive asked them to swap it for me, lets see what they say...

Sarnia are in guernsey I think, they post everything individually to avoid vat. Worth a look, got a mate who used them and was well pleased. You've got some nice stuff there. My bro bought $ 6500 worth of silver from Gainesville in march & to buy the same now it would be over 10 grand!
@09SRILANKA I couldnt help myself.. I bought more gold and silver today, another kruggerrand, a 2009 (.99999) gold maple leaf and 10 silver kookaburras.. This has to be my last transaction..lol.. I was only going to go 10% into precious metals and now its more like 55%..Oooops!... Ive been looking to invest for years, If only I knew about this, even just a few months ago.. but I guess thats life.. hopefully the next 6 months will bring further increases...

Hi, I use this website called bullionbypost.co.uk. They're very good but I do think they are a bit pricey (high premiums on the coins) I'm expecting a delivery of gold from them soon. The thing is they dont deilver outside the UK.
