thank you j.k rowling for letting me have the most amaing childhood ever through books and movie <3 I think you are a genius and its so hard to believe that this idea you had became all of this <3 so I hope you make many other books because I would love to see how vampires and werewolves are in your mind but once again thank you <3
You've been outstanding Jo ALL of this have come from your head...I find that mind boggling. Hopefully as time goes on your name will be up there with shakespear :D
J.K. Rowling thank you so very much for allowing me and so many millions of others to experience your world of Harry Potter through the books and of course the movies. I was 6 years old when I began watching this magical franchise and have continued to do so till this day. I am now 16 and was so touched by the last film that I could not help but cry. I was sad when the credits roled, but I`ve decided to look at the situation as one chapter closing to open another. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!
She's an amazing writer and an amazing woman. I'm so thankful for what she wrote and it amazes me how thankful she feels towards her fans. It's like everyone loves each other.
not exactly your typical spinster ...she could have ended up an alcoholic with drug-abusing rebellious kids, dying at 50 in some dingy flat in some nondescript cleft of england
In America, were both the film and book released as "Sorcerer's Stone"? And how was the stone actually referred to in the book, philosopher's or sorcerer's?
@Terror405 philosophers stone is what it is called everywhere else, i dont know about the US book, i just know they changed it so american people would be able to sort of see what the story is about :p
Srsly, The last part of deathly hallows the book. I could t breath. it was so good. Even though i must admit that the story of snap is my favorite part of the book, its a bit weird but its true.
Thanks this is so profound... actually never seen deeper interview with her. Harry Potter has definitely taught me "why fight" ! more than any other book or film series. E X C E L L E N T !
By far this is the best harry potter film EVER - i just watched it with my friend here bit.ly\Stream-HP-7 and we are both BLOWN away! we both had tears in our eyes at the end! no more harry!!!!
@MBGamingLegends Well in this interview she was mainly is talking about the films and what a great job the actors and crew had done throughout this series so why would she even bring up the name "Philospher's Stone"? Furthermore, I still don't understand why JK Rowling didn't just give the 1rst movie the same name as the book?? :/
Dear Jo Rowling, Please write a book about Dumbledore's life story; how he met Nickolas Flamel and how he defeated the dark wizard Grindalwald- it seems very interesting! and how he became to be and so on, since we already know so much about Harry Potter. :)
~A fan.
PS: Keep writing Jo, thank you for shareing so much with us, creating the world of Hogwarts. <3
OMG...i love each word...it´s almost the same things that i felt and i thought reading the seven books..all those parts with so emotional words and dilemmas...why fight?, we have a meaning, people whom i fight for...that´s such a lot of feelings that now... seven years after all this Harry potter fever in my head ..i seriously wonder myself if i will feel this powerful emotions with another history ...I cannot wait to see this last movie but i´m sad 4 the end at the same time
@UAS4ever in the movie she dies i have read the book i know what happens but she does die in the film and trelawney gets angry check it out at harrypotter.wikia.com
Thank you JK Rowling for creating the best book/film series ever. Harry Potter is my life and always will be. 98% of my life will be over when harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 comes out. I'm going to cry like made when I see the credits pop up. LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!!
I don't know how anyone could dislike J.K. She's so talented and down to earth. She's so modest and passionate. Jealousy I think. She's such an amazing role model for everyone. She's my idol.
I was so touched when she said the Big Seven to her mind includes Neville, Luna, and Draco. It's so powerful. Neville and Luna are misfits and show that even someone who is on the outside looking in their whole life can be a leading lady/man, not a sidekick. And Draco just shows how what we want and what we can actually handle don't always match up....a really good character. Thanks JKR for bringing all these characters into my life. I am changed for the better.
@spaceblaster09 I really love your comment. The characters are just so completely relatable. Harry Potter will live forever because of this. Millions of children will continue to read this series and find themselves in this "big seven." :)
This woman is amazing. She is an inspiration and visionary. She literally was my childhood and the reason I love books and everything that I do now so fiercely. She created a world so wonderfully brilliant and REAL that it taught thousands and hundreds of children (and their parents!) worldwide what it meant to be human and believe in what was right. We grew up as Harry grew up and that is a gift I think no other person can give the world again; Harry Potter is a gift no one can give again.
I can't wait for the princes tale! It's one of my favourite chapters. It was so unprecedented and cemented my belief that Snape is one of if not THE best character in the series:)
Even in the books, just imagining the Great Hall in ruins... they all talk about it in these interviews.
The thought that one woman gave us a simple--well, not simple... enormous--room where everything began, where Hogwarts becomes a real fantastic place that we've all sort of grown up in with Harry, that is nothing short of a miracle. Think of all the tears flooding the theatre floors once we see the Great Hall utterly destroyed.
thankyou JK Rowling. thankyou for catching that train, thankyou for having that idea, thankyou for writing it on paper, thankyou for the World of Harry Potter, thankyou for our childhood. thankyou.
Jo, my appreciation, love and respect for this series is greater than any other. Harry Potter has changed my worldview, helped me to make the right choices and all together made me a better person. This fictional world that you have created is beautiful and magnificent, and despite it being different from the "muggle world" completely relatable and inspiring. Harry Potter has been the ultimate experience and life lesson. Thank you for absolutely everything!

Her comment about seeing the Great Hall destroyed being so horrible to watch? It'll kill me. I dread seeing all the destruction...it's like Hogwarts is a part of me.
This woman changed my life! The first book was released in the US the month of my 12th birthday and...my goodness, receiving that book was like I received my Hogwarts letter.
I can't imagine my life without her 'having had an idea on the train once'...
Thank you SO much, JK Rowling!! ♥

This woman changed my life! The first book was released in the US the month of my 12th birthday and...my goodness, receiving that book was like I received my Hogwarts letter.

I just cried through this, too. First trailers, now interviews. I can't handle Harry Potter ending.
