I mean, Every game has his own type of music.

Like Serious sam, has a metallic fun themed songs for theyr gameplay as its supposed to be a funny shoot em up.

When I talk about this kind of music, I'm referring to heavy metal music tunes. From what I can remember, Painkiller is one of the only other games to have intense music like this that would fade in and out depending on the situation. But to each their own of course. Your opinion is your own, and I respect that.

yeah, i own both and the ps3 network is just a sorry excuse. the graphics on ps3 destroy without a question especially on a plasma with a nice contrast ratio. anyway x box just has way better content and network.

I beleive this game has the very best soundtrack of any I've played. Some games, yes, the music suits situations perfectly. But on it's own, this soundtrack is -amazing-.

Right on man. Though I think 'The Darkness' was way more impressive and fun to play then Halo, its is in no means better. Truth is, their both worth buying.

In the end its a matter of your own personal taste really.

Well said. lol. i love both Halo and The Darkness, some of my favorite games. But anyone who tries to compare them is like comparing a Drama and an Action, their both alike, but not enought to comepare, The Darkness has a stronger storyline but still great action, so that would be the drama, and Halo has a good story, but the action is off the charts, lol. But yeah you said that a lot better than i did. XP

And there is one more big reason why the can't be compared. And that would be because they are both two different genres; 'The Darkness' is horror, and 'Halo' is science fiction. Thats like.. a world apart gap xD

And one more, 'Halo' is a full FPS, but 'The Darkness' is more of a FPS/RPG. So these games are truly worlds apart.

But both games stories/gameplay are awesome, and made me drool every single step of the way xD and I don't regret buying either one.

You can compare them, both of them are shoot-em-ups after all. I think what SI13NTWA1K3R was comparing was the quality of the games, as in they're both really good. I don't think he meant that they were similar in the aspect of story, mood, or character traits.

Well yeah, I guess you're right about that one there. However, its still very difficult to compare them. Since they have almost nothing in common (unless the usage of guns of course :P) its very hard to give them a accurate rating quality wise.

The Darkness had an really powerful mood to keep you edgy trough the most of the game. While at the same time I adore Halo's colorful storyline. I dunno.. quality wise, I can't really put my finger on it.
