Who was intent on keeping himself out of jail (Even going so far as to Car-bomb a witness, and have Alex shot in a drive-by after the arrest), Casey Novak has been replaced recently as well, She abused the authority of the DA's office and was disbarred for that reason. The new ADA is Kim Greylek... Who I still can't get used to XD

Well you said it yourself, Alex is back for what? 6 Episodes... Then you don't have to be bothered by her anymore. But I don't think Diane will be coming back as Casey anytime soon... She was looking to going on to more things... Which you obviously can't do if you are kept to being ADA Casey Novak in people's mind's. (Its what has harmed former child stars and can work against adults too)
