if u r playing this really slow as in the song 2-2 down strum is fine...else if u r takin it bit fast thn the original thn 2 down n 1-1-1-1- up down strum will make it easier to sing along ..just see the video once again u'll notice tht i m losing tempo bcoz i was tryin to do it the fast way which i would suggest while playin acoustic guitar..
