Their music is simple and uneducated, it is too easy to make and has, in a dreadful turn of events, became popular. There is no skill in the music they write what so ever. The guitar is basic, the drums are basic, the bass is basic etc. and they get by by writing words like, "you are not alone."

I'll respect that as it's your opinion. But I'd like to say that Green Day is far from the mainstream American-Canadian pop punk everyone loves to listen to now. Examples are rubbish Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Sum 41, Hey Monday and more.

On the other hand, Green Day still fits in with Rancid, the Offspring, the Muffs, the Queers, Pansy Division, Operation Ivy, the Ramones, NOFX (maybe) and more. And NOT Anti-Flag, and all that.

Sounds goods, i own a gax30 myself, it was my first guitar, Ive been playing for around about 2 years coming up Christmas, n i use a fender strat, now, keep it up tho just work on your technique n you'll be there in no time :)
