Ok. I know this is going to sound stupid to most people, but despite the poor sound quality, for the most part I hear 2 hands playing what should sound like two independent lines. The bass octaves sound like they are just accompanying the RH instead of sounding like a completely independent melodic line. But this is still a good performance.
Yup. Predictable. No,I admitted it would probably SOUND stupid to people like you who may otherwise rubberstamp everything as great. Just because people choose to write things here and give honest observations doesn't mean they are invalid.Others may hear something they absolutely loved in the performance that, once pointed out,I would earnestly concur-I welcome that too! When I was in college, we all played for each other and gladly received feedback. That's how we constantly improve! We all can
BTW, I just researched some other comments you made on another performance of this piece. Admittedly it was not on the same level as the playing here, but the comments you offered were not even constructive- in fact totally destructive. At least mine were constructive. Can't we all be a little constructive??
MrGrigor99, this is on Anna Shelest's CD of Rachy's M.M. Op. 16 and E.T. Op. 39. The performance on the CD is much better (because it is studio recording of course). It is definitely worth they buy!
absolutely beautiful!

Sure it is stupid and you admit to it so close your trap and earn music, learn piano and learn Rachmaninov and stay humble.

Thanks for backing me up, I don't like to get into piss fights with people here, but it's difficult sometimes to figure people out.
