Thanks for your informative overview. Surprised that the Doc thinks a saliva PH of below 7 is good. Have read from a variety of sources that the best range for saliva is 7.35 to 7.45.

The urine is filtered out of the blood. Excess acids in the blood are eliminated through the urine, so it is an indirect way to test. The blood is held at a more constant level, while the urine varies more due to this reason, so it is actually a very good reflection of what is actually going on in body.
I did a ph test for my saliva and it was very alkaline. Strip turned blue. That seems to be a bit over board on the alkaline side... what can i do to get it balanced?
i think it should also be noted that there are a lot of fruits and vegetables that are acidic. i'm vegan and was still suffering from an imbalance due to all of the rice, peppers, potatoes, and bread i was eating.
Does not matter if the foods themselves are acidic. Acidic foods do not mean they cause your body to be acidic. Acidic foods have minerals to help digest foods and do not pass on acidity.
7:20 ...6.0-7.0? where are you getting these numbers? most sources state something like 7.365, slightly alkaline, as being the ideal pH score
