I have recently applied for a passport (with my SRS surgeon's letter stating I am physically a woman). I am hoping this will come in October. Sorry about the imbarising bank situation, i told my bank when i opend an accout that i dont go by that name and this and that and they were totaly cool with it and even made a note of it on there computers so when i cash checks they all call me brodey and its hastle free.

I had an easy time adding my fem. name as my middle name on the passport. From there on it was easy to get ID and ATM cards with this name on it. I asked specificaly that my middle name be printed out in full and not only initial on ATM cards. Problem solved! All this was easy and without having to go to the court.

We had to change my little brothers name i know here in California he had to go to a court hearing...then again he is under the age of 18 and it california....so no idea. test" and is planning for her SRS. My question to you is the same as my question to her, how many months since starting HRT before going full time?? The timetable I gave to my theropist was 6 months, but am wondering how that compares to girls that have actually made that decision.
I'm going fulltime after 11 months on hormones, for what it's worth. But stuff your therapist, go full time when it's right for you. It takes everybody different amounts of time until they're ready to go full time.

Yeah thankfully when you are changing your own name and you are an adult its quite easy. It just takes a lot of time to do.

I had a similiar experience when I was 15 and went to get a passport. I'm FTM. Anyways, the person issuing the passport gave me a lecture on how I should try to appear more feminine (no thanks!) and then put my sex down as M (yes!).

i think this is one of the best (indirect) compliments somebody can make "accedantly" to a Trans, to be absolutly confused about the fact that he/she is not talking to a biological woman. manny manny of us have the great problem of a much to maskulin head and you can see it all time the rest of her life. you can be realy proud of you and what you have acomplished :) i whish i´ll be in some time at your point now. but for me i am just at the beginning.

Congratulations on full time!! It is a giant step in the transition process. Just saw with Gothique11 that she has completed her full year of the "real life
test" and is planning for her SRS. My question to you is the same as my question to her, how many months since starting HRT before going full time?? The timetable I gave to my theropist was 6 months, but am wondering how that compares to girls that have actually made that decision.

I'm going fulltime after 11 months on hormones, for what it's worth. But stuff your therapist, go full time when it's right for you. It takes everybody different amounts of time until they're ready to go full time.

Gosh, I think mine was right around 6 months as well. Do whatever is comfy for you, thats most important.
