how do u get your hair to be so soft?? i have been natural now for 12weeks, am loving my hair. i woudn't mine to know what u use for your hair, it looks so beautiful. :-)
Okay, I love this style on you! I have got to learn how to cornroll! How did your fam like your hair at Thanksgiving? I don't know if you ended up getting that Jetta but if not, consider getting the Bug! I have a convertible bug and LOVE IT! It's not an immature car...it is what you make it. Plus, the look of the car changes depending on what color you get. Anyhoo, love the hair and video!
They liked it alot, but I wore two strand twists at thanksgiving. I didn't get the Jetta, I decided not to get a VW bc they are soo expensive to repair. I do think the Bug's are super cute. Thanks. :)
This video inspired me to go natural a couple months back and I feel so free w.out having to worry about the next time I need a relaxer. Thank you sooo mucho = )
I'm so new to this natural I been for eight months It was kind of an accident I started wearing wigs and just left it alone so now I'm trying to train my hair to b curly I've cut must of the relaxer off I had some glue in weave and really messed me up but what is the lingo everybody is using TWA? I find my hair is sooo dry thus is y wearing my hair is frustrating
My transition started kinda wierd too. There was an incident on the day i was supposed to get my relaxer and I took it as a sign that I shouldn't get a relaxer anymore. I love it, I'm alot happier with it natural. You need to get you some Shea butter or some vegetable glycerin or something for moisture. TWA is short for Teeny Weeny Afro.
No I didn't braid it up everynight, kinda every other night and no more product during the rebraiding. The Coconut oil is Spectrun Essentials organic coconut oil. I can't remember where I got it. I think it was Wal-Mart.
Thats beautiful. I do the same style with the Whipped Pudding. I too am a Oyin lover...nothing compares. As far as the Jetta goes. I used to have one. I will be Volkswagen for life I currently own a Rabbit....I LOVE IT!!
I have some whipped pudding... I'm gonna try that!! I've never used it for that. I'm so thankful that we have this community to share tips and tricks. :) Oyin is the TRUTH!! I really think I'll get the Jetta. Thanks again for the tip. God Bless.
ur hair is always so cute. im at my fourth month after my big chop and i just cant seem to get into a nice"groove" with my hair. i run into it being really dry alot and often find myself thinkin that i might go back to a relaxer.then i slap myself because there is no way im goin back after i have completed the transition phase. i love my natural and would really love to keep it ths way but im really lost.
There are a lot of videos on Youtube with tips on how to handle hair dryness. You may want to experiment with different conditioners. Some very popular brands are Oyin Handmade and Giovanni. You have to be patient...you'll get it.
@ teeahtate you took the words out of my mouth. I'm a strong believer in Oyin Handmade products. I mentioned in this video I use Frank Juice EVERY day. It's an herbal leave in that works beautifully.
Thanks Hun!!! OMG!! I do love them soo much!! That's my dream car!! It just isn't pracital, they aren't good on gas. When you buy an used one chances are the previous owner drove the HECK out of it. I think the Mustang should be the car I buy when I'm more financially stable. I'll get a brand new one just to drive on the weekends. :)
Yea, Jettas are cute. I'm not sure if you're buying new or used, but make sure yours is healthy and/or you have a warranty, because my mom had one, and those boogers are a pain to repair. But, of course, what foreign car isn't expensive in that respect?
Anywho...Hope your fam likes you hair on Turkey Day!
Woot Woot! Happy Thanksgiving! You're gonna rock it, I like the fluffy fro. It looks good and I'm almost 100% they'll love it. If not, whatev, you like it and that's all that matters. :) I like it hey! lol!
Your hair ROCKS!!! I'm sure your family will love your hair, but if they don't who cares! As long as you like it, it doesn't matter what other people think...Holla!!
High Five for you doing CORNROWS! I can NOT do any YET! I don't know why I cant do them! LOL I may have to retry them. When I do one or two.. My arms get tired! LOL
A lotta bit? Too Cute. I agree with your Dad that German cars are good, but they are expensive to get fixed. Toyata's or Honda's are not funky, but they are durable and an easy ride.
By the way I love Jetta's!! OMG your hair is awesome! I've been looking for Veggie Glycerin and I can't find it! Do you know where I can purchase it from? Gosh you and your hair was soo cute!!
Aww Thanks. I got it at the vitamin shoppe. Where they sell weight gainer and nutritional supplements for bodybuilders and stuff. Maybe at a health food store. I'm sure you can buy it online somewhere just like everything else. lol. Thank you soo much for the kind words!!
I think I will copying this style for Thanksgiving! Have had my hair in cornrows with twists and it's time to switch up. Haven't been wearing my hair out so it wants to be free, lol!
If not, go with the buggie! I love my buggie, it's cute, fits into parking spaces most cars couldn't fit in, and don't judge it by its size...it is small, but powerful. I like to think it's pretty funky like me too lol. Either way, good luck with car shopping. LOVE UR HAIR!!! :)
Thanks for the compliment. I'm kinda leaning towards the new beetle now. :) There is a green one in my area that is a convertible for really cheap. What year is yours? Sorry I'm asking so many questions.
I have to say I am kinda of biased towards the new beetle...I love my car. Mine is '03 New Beetle Convertible in MIdnight Blue...I think that is the first year they came out and I haven't had any problems with it. It is my first and only car and I've been driving it since high school, now in my third year of college. I will say though, that I've heard if something does go wrong, fixing vw's can be expensive...idk tho. If anything happens, I'd just go to my dad lol. HTH!
it's funny ur looking at a vw jetta and/or possibly a buggie! my mom has a jetta and i have a buggie convertible and both are great cars. If you are planning to carpool and have people in the back a lot or if you like a decent amount of trunk space, then go with the jetta.
Great minds think alike. :) Thanks for the info. I heard that the convertible can get really cold in the winter. Does it seal off well with the top up? I could get the regular one with the hatchback. I don't have kids or anyting I wouldn't need alot of extra space.
hmm...I've haven't noticed my car getting any colder than any other car during the winter and I'm in new england where it does get pretty cold lol. No probs on my end with the convertible top sealing either. And I esp. love my car in the summer when I can have the top down while rocking a BAA! love it.
Heyyy Summyr... well I just got it ... and I tend to only drive it on the weekends and or when it is really nice outside so that I can let down the top... so I must say that I haven't really had an opp. to drive it yet on cold days... but I feel like the heat really works well in the car and the car has heated seats... but truth be told... I just really wanted a convertible and the bug was so cute and not real expensive so I had to get it... it was kind of like a bucket list thing for me ;)
pretty!!!!! i like i wish i would have seen this yesterday before church but u did it today lol well i never tried the veggie glyc but i iwill go buy some today =)
