I loved it when an imam declared jihad on Constantinople when I played Byzantium - by the time I had taken Antioch and Aleppo. Maybe its a matter of opinion. Then again this is most likely a Protestant/Catholic/Christian company which created the game and/or video so there is some bias.

Or it can be that Crusades were more moving and powerful historically in comparison to Jihads which were weaker and less ambitious.

Few if any military canpiagn by a Christian king is called crusade, for the simple reason that it's not. SAme thing with muslim military campaigns.
