  • I am sharing these wonderful clips from the 70's w/ my mum and cousin! ...she loved the 'story at the sea' clip of the clay-mation girl's super fantasy book!

  • Whoa I remember this! I loved this as a kid in the 80's.

  • wow that awsome, thats the second one that was made after that kid one that was lost.

  • What was that clip at the beginning? I know Guille doesn't like people making those requests, and it's alright if it doesn't get uploaded, but would you mind at least telling what it was?

  • Never mind. I know now.

  • Cool to see this again. The yo yo guy is not as scary as in the lost boy clip.

  • and also not as old black guy sounding!

  • who did the voice in this version? sounds a bit like glenn shadix. (beetlejuice)

  • According to a Muppet Wiki administrator, it's a guy named Earl Bogen. Apparently he was in "Nine to Five". It may be worth watching that movie again just to see and know his character.

  • Alright, who took my ship out without asking me? Great clip! I've always remembered that, "Yo-yo-yo!" at the beginning.

  • Are you refering to the i am lost clip where that boy on the bike gets lost? And the guy instructs him to make the first thing the last?

  • yep..thats it...

  • Good thing I remeber. A guppy is a freshwater fish though.

  • what...never heard of an inland sea like the Great Lakes?

  • I guess not.

  • "Ugh! What's worse than finding a worm in an apple?"

    "Finding half a worm."

  • This was a interesting one but Grover's version was far better

  • *chuckles* I know the clip you're referring to, but have yet to see it here...what a shame!

  • When I read "over, under..." I thought "could it be?". A friend told me about this years ago but I had no memory of it (still don't). I think it lends credence to the theory that Dizzy Gillespie voiced the other w/ yo-yo, because they used a different voice here.

Anyway thanks a bunch for letting me see it finally!

  • The yo-yo guy *looks* exactly like the one in the "lost boy" cartoon, even if he's got a new voice. If this wasn't the same animator's work, then whoever did it was a genius at copying!

  • I believe it IS the same dude.

  • Another one imprinted on my subconscious.
