  • i would cry if i was the passenger of that plane xD

  • If your gonna fly an rc airliner theres no better choice!

  • yea its a super connie. its on youtube look up lufthansa auburn maine.

  • im rebuilding one of these for lufthansa

  • @rotaryracing1982 Are you working on a real Constellation?

  • Am wondering if the engines were actual scale model radials (which do exist but are VERY expensive), or single cylinder. I'm guessing there's at least $20K tied up in this model.

  • daytenmillion@ I'm sorry but you're mistaken. The earlier Consttellations (049, 649, 749, 1049) did indeed have non radar noses before it became an FAA requirement to have weather radar on all airliners. However, the L-1649A Starliner Constellation was built during 1957/58 (they were the last of the Connies) and Lockheed only built 44. By then all airliners had to have weather radar. I have flown right seat on N974R, (ex D-ALAN, Lufthansa) twice and am extremely familiar with these airplanes.

  • The nose is wrong

  • very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now I want to try this..:))))

  • Beautiful! The Lufthansa machine inspired me to illustrate all the scheme variations that Lufthy flew on the Starliner. :)

    Kind Regards,

    Herb Greenwood

  • Most beautiful plane that ever flew.....

  • Terrific plane

  • Fabulous model although it does have the wrong nose. The L-1649A Super Star had a radar nose and it was always painted black. Otherwise an amazing job... congratulations!

  • @pjk1649a Actually, I believe it is accurate. Some of the LuftHansa aircraft were ordered without radar.

  • the wings look quite wide somehow maybe 1,5 inches too long

  • Great video!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • The Constellation was one of the most elegant planes ever constructed! Yours is spot on with detail.

    +5 well done!

  • very very nice!! I'm jealous....is it kit or scratch built?

  • that is one hell of an rc plane!
