  • You want me, well fucking well come and find me

I'll be waiting with a gun and a pack of sandwiches

    And nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing...

  • leonardo was so pretty when he was younger :O and now.... :s :/

  • i miss the young leo

  • i love this film:D and leo is just beautiful.

  • i love how this song explain's the movie within its music

  • awesome

  • They filmed this movie in my hometown Veracruz, Mexico.

  • i love that first scene. With this song, and Leo smoking a cigarette. ;)

  • @mymortalmisery looks like one awesome person raised their hand is all

  • i love romeo and juliet

if u r a real poetry nut u realise that the events of the story tie in to the first things romeo sais

how they contradict is paralel to how the story is a romance then tragedy (loving hate)

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION OF ROMEO AND JULIET!

  • All the kids in my class said they liked the older version better, so when the teacher asked who liked this one, it was really awkward when I raised my hand....needless to say that gave them more reasons to dislike me....

  • @mymortalmisery i LOVE THE NEW VERSION!

  • @mymortalmisery doesn't sound like a group of people you really need to impress

  • @mymortalmisery If it's any comfort, the audience of Shakespeare's day would have much preferred the new verion, I reckon. Shakespeare's audiences were much like us - they wanted a bit of excitement! (They would also have been very drunk and surrounded by prostitutes... he had to hold their attention somehow!) It was only when the stuffy Victorians came along that it was all calmed down. Luhrmann himself said he approached the film as he thought Shakespeare would have thought it. :)

  • @mymortalmisery because the older version showed BOOBIES :D!!

  • The Guitar has this thing about it. I can't tell what it is. It feels like it means something to me.

  • i just keep hitting replay, i'm watching romeo and juliet in my english class and this song reminds me of my teacher. it makes me sad as she is the only one that likes me and is leaving next week :(

  • @maxemofire969 then bang the fuck outta her!!!! :D Props to ya bro!!

  • I love this song. One of my favorites of all time. One of my favorite movies as well.

  • I close my eye's... sit back...listen. My spirit flow's.

  • somebody someone is killing this song!.....

  • no dudley didnt bring me here..

  • Dudley brought me here... :o

  • DUDLEY!

  • who else is here cos of dudley?

  • thumbs up if dudley sent you here

  • I, Iván Rojas Arancibia, I want this song for my funeral, is my last will...

  • All the gorgeous beauty in this story and all you guys can talk about is how the music is good and ahead of its time?

  • @ZeroCoolStar

why dont you go to a literature forum to talk about it, instead of coming to youtube? In case you didnt notice, what you are listening to is a song of the soundtrack, not a Romeo & Juliet audiobook.

  • @mchelo18 Freedom .

  • @ZeroCoolStar Ha! You must definitely be an INFP. So am I.

  • @Blueeyedwhisper O_o What is an INFP?

  • @ZeroCoolStar Oh sorry... look up MBTI personality types, you can even take a test if you want. I said infp, but I could be wrong.

  • @Blueeyedwhisper So your saying I'm a personality test?

  • It took me all of two minutes to find this song. Jelous?

  • @smurphy534 Not at all.

  • very good soundtrack and way too soon for this movie this song is superfuckingbad

  • i hate this movie but i love the song

  • This film, Natural Born Killers, the Crow, Fear and Loathing, Pulp Fiction, kids, and True Romance= Defining movies of the nineties, for some Gummo would be in there too (it is for me) Hormony Korrine, nailed that period of the early to mid 90's.

  • "Why, then, O brawling love! O loving hate!

O any thing, of nothing first create!

    O heavy lightness! serious vanity!

    Mis-shapen chaos of well-seeming forms!

Feather of lead, bright smoke, cold fire,

    sick health!

Still-waking sleep, that is not what it is!

This love feel I, that feel no love in this."

  • @bsb4ever33 "Ay me. . Sad hours seem long." :)

  • @insertclevernickname throw in pulp fiction and u got it for sure... That makes two films written by Tarrantino(who wrote killers but didnt direct) and Bruce Lees son! Great decade for movies, cant think of many from 00-10

  • @jrobinson78 Fair enough, my distaste for Tarantino today shouldn't sully the good name of Pulp Fiction, ADD IT TO THE LIST! WFuck me! forgot Fear and loathing! ADD IT TO THE LIST! AHHH True romance! okok, lets start again...

  • to my talkshow host. i'm ready. with a gun and a pack of sandwitches, and nothing from romeo to Arthur

  • Anyone else seeing the Coca-Cola flag?

  • @hype4101 It was part of Lurman's signature in his "Red Curtain Trilogy" (Rooftop reflector sign in 'Strictly Ballroom' when Fran and Scott first kiss, then later the Coca-cola resembling "L'amour" from Romeo and Juliet and finally in vintage, yet recognizable, Coca-cola lettering "L'amour fou" in Moulin Rouge!) They are symbolic of the passion and madness of love. Just had a notion: Robin Beck's 80's "First Time"; was originally written for them- a possible influence? (Classic Coca Cola Ad)

  • @hype4101 It wasn't an actual coca cola sign, everything was changed to either Capulet of Montague . Though I'm sure they paid to have it there all the same.

  • @insertclevernickname They didnt pay for it. it says L'Amour referencing Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom.

  • @hype4101 bet they paid a couple of grand for that one haha

  • Comment removed

  • @hype4101 lol i see it too
