He was a recovering drug addict since I was 11...that's 6 years... he relapsed a lot and I remember the day we both heard this song.. A very happy day.

Heroin is the most addictive drug, it takes a very strong will to get clean, and takes an even stronger will to stay clean. Im a 15 year old girl, and have been off heroin for 4 months. Getting clean is the most rewarding thing you can ever do. I got off of heroin by myself, no alternate drugs, no alcohol, no sedatives to get through. But after i stopped tweaking, i ran into my brother Dylan's arms, and we sat in the floor and cried he was so proud of me as i was of myself, don't do drugs kids.
@xaviswags you're strong. im 15 too and i've been an alcoholic. it didn't happened by some single reason, it was result of everything what had happened to me. stopping was really hard, it's still sometimes.. but now i really can control my drinking, i am, for the first time, over the alcohol. i hope it stays the same. but drugs.. i'm happy for you even i don't even know you. really.. keep well..

@xaviswags Well done!! I was on Gear from 13 until i got pregnant at 21 with only small breaks off it (prison & the like) i would never have been strong enough at 15. So now ive been clean 6 years (well one slip up) I cant imagine ever going back. My kids are my life now. Youve done great. Keep it up chickers :) x

Michaels voice "Everything would be alright, everything would be okay" was my support and strenght and motivation when I decided to get clean and my family didnt believe in me and turned their backs. I told her boyfriend, and he couldn't take not knowing where she was. On August of this year...My dad died.

Every time I hear this something comes over me, Nikki has to be one of the strongest people ever to live. I can't even imagine how much it takes to get off that shit. He is my hero. This song is just amazing.

Beautiful song, i'm crying a bit right now. I'm pretty sure that being addicted is one of the worst things that could happen to a person. Supporting everyone who's trying to fix their life :)
