I think if this was made out of laser cut stainless steel (this would work out considerably cheaper than tooling for plastic moulding) and it was constantly mounted to the pot then it would look a lot more appealing. As it is, it looks flimsy.
@isdebuggerpresent KickDisk is flexible by design - if you make something like this that doesn't flex, you'll break the shaft off the pedal in about five seconds. Try it on a crappy pedal that you hate and want to kill. It's not made to look appealing, it's made to work - and it does!
