After seeing this vidy I can only wonder; why were their videos so very lame. I personally think if they had done videos; like this, of the band playing Gravity Kills would have gone a whole lot further/been more successful
@Pittermilk It's 400lbs and designed by the drummer (previously a career architect). The flexible part is based on the human neck (flexible vertebrae). The keyboard he's using is an Oberheim Matrix 12, but is sadly only being used as a controller.
unfortunately in the U.S., industrial music never grabbed the carts like it should. However Jeff(lead singer) is back in the studio working on guitars right now. Hopefull some new music within the nest year.
I saw them live a couple years ago,(maybe '07?) and they sounded amazing. That is a rare thing, considering they released their first CD about 10 years before.
when i was in high school i went to a concert here in wv for some shit band that headlined i cant remember but i DO remember seeing them...not knowing they were going to be at the show was a cool surprise but their entrance to the stage was the coolest ive ever seen and the best i will ever see
holy shit...they're awsome live. I've liked them for a long time but never saw a live video or performance of them. they sound as good if not better live then the recording. Hopefully they get shit going agian and tour. Id go see em.
Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt since I'm a random guy on the Internet. But I was at Gravity Kills' most recent performance (Nov '08), and the guys personally confirmed to me that they're going to get together in the studio to work on a new album. Also, there was a professional grade camera filming the show; it *might* come out on DVD--that hasn't been confirmed.
ive seen these guys 3times. all at small venues. they are the best live.
